SKUSA Pro Tour - New Castle, IN

What a weekend! First time doing spanners in the US and immediately being thrown at the kart which fights for the championship. I am really thankful to @velocityracingusa , @mmorgatto & @thomascypers for giving me the opportunity to show what I can do.

Everything was new for me. The team, the series, tyres and procedures. After struggling a bit with the setup on friday we didn't panic and made it count on saturday. Saving the MG tyres was a key to success and we showed that our package was the one to beat in the end. Matheus drove a clever race just staying out of trouble and still being up front. Engines from @sani_competition under Alessio's watch were the ones to beat. Thomas being on the data made the right calls with the setups and the results are back to back championships!

Another race, another victory in KZ2 Masters for Richard ✅

Wackersdorf brought a lot of challenges because the track kept changing grip across the weekend but we made it work!

We moved to the team of our engine tuner KartCZ and Laura went with us. We could see an absolutely different approach and you could also see that on the track. Richard was on the spearhead of the KZ2M grid since the first laps and attacking top10 in KZ2. Laura did massive improvement pace-wise but we still have to focus on practicing some KZ2 specific procedures like starts. Nevertheless - progress was there and we keep going.

In KZ2 Masters/Gentlemen we could see amazing races at the front thanks to Richard, @kartsport_hayer , @tomasmisik , @vachajindrich
and @erikpisacka . In the final Sven took the win as he had shown really strong pace in the opening laps which gave him 1.5s lead which he kept against Richard in P2 until the very end. We take P1 in Masters nevertheless which strengthens Richard's massive lead in the chanpionship with two round to go!

In the final of KZ2 Richard had to fight from P20 as incidents-plagued second heat made us DNF. He flew off the start making multiple positions in the first lap. Sadly as he was catching through the field our rear bumper bracket snapped in the welds and we were forced to pit for repair (zip-ties powa) and that meant dropping from the edge of top10 into P27 on the line but still not being lapped. It was sadly one of those which didn't go to plan but we will come back refreshed for the next race in @steelring.cz

I need to address one thing which was happening this weekend in the paddock. All the accusations made by Petr Kopeček about myself are absolutely ill-minded and it's just a pile of nonsense. Some things should be kept private but since he chose to make our disagreements public and tried to poise a lot of my friends in the paddock against me, I feel the need to adress this. Everyone can make their own opinions on this but just be careful around this guy. I am a bit surprised that somebody with this kind of reputation and behaviour can still be an official Sodi dealer.

The first race of the season is done and dusted. For me it was incredibly challenging because being taken to a team which is dominating the KZ field for the past years is a big responsibility. Even more so when I was assigned to Dion van Werven for the first race of the season.

Even with some initial mistakes from my side we were able to go through the weekend on a high note.

Winning the quali and taking the first pole of the season was a very nice thing to do.

Also in the races we showcased some proper speed and in the end it was 3rd place on the podium with total Sodi takeover.

Sarno is happening next week so let's see what that brings when the whole grid will be put together after the winter brake taken in Kartodromo La Conca by @tomascagas
