The first YYachts Cup is underway.
Today was all about practice, preparation, and getting to know the boats and crews on the water. Apart from the Mediterranean summer turning up the heat, the atmosphere and incredible spirit shared by everyone involved pointed in the same direction: we’re set for an outstanding few days of racing.
With the beautiful surroundings of Club de Mar-Mallorca, we couldn’t have asked for a better start. We’re looking forward to what promises to be a memorable first edition of the YYachts Cup.
But who will take home the very first YYachts Cup trophy?
Will the mighty Y9 Bella dominate all three days and prove that size matters? Or will the Y8 fleet, led by Calabash and Makai, have something to say about it? And let’s not forget the Y7s — Lucid, Distancia and Beati — ready to remind everyone that smart sailing, teamwork and tactics can beat raw length any day of the week.
The stage is set. Let the racing begin.
