After a season of stillness... Danceformation returns! 🌅

For weeks, deep within me, it’s been stirring, and so I’m really excited to finally bring this event back to life. When I first created it back in 2018, the intent was to create a space for people to have a transformational experience through Dance, Movement Music Community and Connection.

This winter’s theme, ReGeneration, draws inspiration from nature itself. Winter reminds us that stillness is never empty. Beneath the surface, roots deepen, seeds gather strength, and life quietly reorganises itself in preparation for what’s to come.

On a personal note, this event is also a reflection and symbolic of my own regeneration and readiness to re-emerge 🔥

✨ Returning to the light ✨

The Winter Solstice has passed.

The longest night is behind us, and little by little, the light begins to return.

While the days still feel cool and the mornings dark, something subtle has shifted. Nature is already turning. The wheel is moving. We are slowly making our way back towards the sun.

The Solstice offers a beautiful reminder: even in the deepest darkness, light returns.

This time of year invites us to reflect on what we are ready to leave behind, what we wish to nourish, and how we want to move forward into the coming season.

One of our favourite ways to honour this transition is through dance.

Movement has a way of helping us release what feels heavy, awaken what has become dormant, and reconnect us to ourselves and each other.

This Sunday we dance with @djpeach.love
Expect uplifting beats, deep grooves, playful rhythms and a beautiful community of humans gathering to move, connect and welcome the returning light.

No experience needed.
Just bring your body, an open heart, and a willingness to move.

Today’s performance was a beautiful reminder that dementia does not define a person, but that it is the love, laughter, friendships, and shared experiences that make us who we are.
