Ad | 🍊 I love making tiny handmade books! This time I’ve illustrated lots of cute little oranges. I used my favourite @tombow_uk ABT Dual Brush Pens and Tombow Irojiten Colour Pencils on top to add some little details. How gorgeous and bright are those colour combinations? I wanted a zingy retro vibe, so chose the Orange as my main colour and then built the rest of the palette around it. I used Process Blue as a striking complementary colour, and greens for a grounded feel. I couldn’t resist the pink Orchard shade for an unexpected pop of colour! I love working with the ABT pens because they give such a vibrant colour, and every little mark gives such a lush texture. The pencils layered beautifully on top of the pens and were the perfect way to bring out all those little details and extra marks.
