Tokyo demands excellence - For Sandro Gamba, Executive Chef at the @ritzcarltontokyo, that’s exactly what drives him. With over 40 years perfecting his craft in the kitchen, Sandro brings the same obsession for detail and precision into all his other creative passions.

This film moves through the rhythms of Sandro’s stunning photography - exploring the market for the best ingredients, selecting the finest chinaware and crafting beautiful photographs that reflect the tiny details that make his food so special.

It was a great pleasure to spend time in Tokyo with @sandro_gamba_chef, @paulreiffer, @sachi_yasui and create this project for @phaseonephoto - Huge thanks to everyone who made this possible!

Step behind the scenes of professional photography with @lsdigi_ltd - one of the world’s top digitechs.

A digitech’s role might not steal the spotlight, but it’s essential for creating perfect images. As the first person to see the files, Laimonas ensures every detail - colour accuracy, sharpness, exposure and much more are all spot on. It’s a mix of problem solving and the high pressure environment of a creative shoot that drives him.

But there’s much more to Laimonas - the contrast between his professional and persona sides reveals the duality of a guy who pushes the paces and winds down to stay creative - thriving on curiosity, playfulness and technical mastery.

It was great fun getting to know Laimonas and watching him work - explore his story and discover why digitechs are the unsung hero’s of photography.
