Nearly 9 weeks married… and somehow it still doesn’t feel real. 🥹🤍

I look at these photos and I’m taken straight back to that moment — standing beside you, looking at you, knowing that after everything we’ve shared, I finally got to call you my husband.

From a Tinder super-like in 2017, to our first date, 9 years together, two beautiful girls, the highs, the lows, the chaos, the laughter… and now this. Our little family. Our life. Our forever. ❤️

Tom, there genuinely isn’t anyone else I’d want to do life with. I’d choose you, every single time.

Bradford 10k ✅ over the moon with today’s run, set out with the intentions of a PB and went and got 2 in 1! First ever sub 25min 5k with the first half of today’s race done in 24:36, then managed to keep the pace to finish the race in 53:02 for a new 10k PB beating my previous time of 54:30. That’s every running time goal for 2025 achieved in first 5 months of the year 😂 by @tomcryerbrown

Bit late on the posting as I was still riding the April wave of running which has definitely been the best month of running to date for me. First ever sub2hr half marathon followed up with my first ever marathon at Manchester alongside the usual club runs and parkruns which needed a well deserved break after. Happy to have achieved my goals I set out in January and this was nicely noticed by my club when I received member of the month for April from DDRC 🥹 by @tomcryerbrown

Rob Burrow Leeds Half Marathon ✅ steadier run for me this time out supporting other Dynamos get round the course on what was a belting hot day. First run back after the marathon and my knees aren’t quite cracking which I found out so that’s the marathon damage holding out a little longer but was happy to get round today in 2hr 39min for @emilyelizabeth_2007’s first ever half marathon 👏🏻 now to rest up and get ready for the next upcoming challenges that await by @tomcryerbrown

Had the best day ever watching my little Ava in her first ever race at the @jtrunforall MND Mile today at Leeds Becketts Headingley Campus. She’s definitely got the bug and the finish atmosphere as she sprinted on that final stretch will be a memory that lives with me forever. Proud dad moment by @tomcryerbrown

Day 1 of running, 12th August 2023….park run/walked a parkrun 5k in 45mins after deciding enough was enough and I had to do something to help myself physically, emotionally and mentally.

Fast forward to 27th April 2025 and I’ve just completed Manchester Marathon in 5hrs 17mins, my first ever marathon and longest ever run.

My body is in bits the day after but despite the pain which will wear off but the memories and journey will live on forever! by @tomcryerbrown

I just ran a marathon and joined the 1% club!!!

18 months ago I was just a fat lad still struggling to come to terms with losing his dad and just trying to use running as a mechanism for my mental health, fast forward to today and despite couple of things not going to plan the underlying feeling is one of immense pride, achievement and joy.

I’ve achieved something I never dreamed I could but here I am with the medal to show for it.

Hopefully that’ll inspire my girls for life that we can do difficult things and we can achieve when you work hard.

Thank you to each and every one of you who has supported me through donating to my page over this whole journey along with everyone’s personal messages as well. We’ve done it! We’ve hit 2k before the marathon. Now all that’s left to do is a little challenge of 26.2 miles to overcome. In just under 48hrs I’ll be on the start line for the Manchester marathon! Hopefully by that time I will of hit £2k raised in total for @the_bhf. I have just over £100 to go so any donations, no matter how small, is one step closer to my goal

Last working day today before packing my bags and heading to Manchester tomorrow for the final rest day ahead of Sundays @manchestermarathon. I can’t believe it’s nearly here!!

All important info for you spectators and family/friends at home who can’t make it on the day. Below is the link to the tracker so you can follow me on the course from 11:30am when I cross the start line to hopefully just under 5hrs 30 when I cross the finish line later. Also below is a live stream link to Manchester marathon’s YouTube channel where hopefully if you’re following me on the tracker you will be able to login when I’m 200m out and see me finish!
