Grateful.

This is the overwhelming feeling I get thinking about the Knicks. There are few things like your team winning a championship.

I know. Following sports is completely irrational. To have so much of your well being invested in an outcome you have no control over is obviously ridiculous. But all the same, it’s true, and life is enriched because of it.

We were there for the ups and the downs. We were at the Halliburton game last year. We were at the CJ McCollum game this year. We fought the traffic, ran out of gas, missed the trains, all just to have our hearts ripped out by painful losses. We may have not been on the floor but we felt the pain all the same, amplified by the collective experience of all the fans in MSG on those nights.

It was all worth it. The joy of experiencing the accomplishments of this extremely likable, inspiring team – especially Game 4 – can never be topped. You can go your whole life following sports and attending games, and never get to experience a game and outcome that historic. It’s the pinnacle of sports fandom.

Kaitlyn – to be able to share it step by step with my best friend makes it all the better. We may not like the same tv shows, the same movies, the same football team, but we have the Knicks. And you know ball! I love you.

Happy 1st Birthday to our spicy little Genevieve Claire. You are full of life, boundless in energy and lacking in patience. 🤣

Our third baby girl, you are pure joy and such a perfect addition to our family.

You love Rex, your sisters and all the attention you get when you wave at strangers at church. You can't wait to ride a scooter independently and will likely be the first DeFelice girl to get stitches.

On August 25, 2024 at 12:59 AM, Genevieve Claire “Evie” DeFelice was born weighing 7 lbs 6 oz. Evie is a fantastic infant - a voracious eater, a peaceful sleeper, and a feisty carbon copy of her mother.

Kaitlyn had some complications postpartum but is finally back home with our family recuperating and feeling stronger everyday.

Mia, Charlie and Rex are in love with their baby sister Evie. We are all so happy to introduce her. by @tomdefelice
