First week of resumption has got to be my favourite week now😍

Ajoke has been a beneficiary since primary school alongside her brother and it’s beautiful to see her start this new journey.

MY RCCG THE SHELTER STORY…

This song by my Pastor @aydoxa explains how I found myself in this family. I had no plans leaving my former church but during Bible college in 2024, we were asked to choose a church for our internship and I didn’t know where to go.

On this trip to Ifewara for a retreat, I just heard in my spirit, The Shelter and I asked my friend who was beside me where the shelter was. I had previously heard and I have people who attend the church but I was not really interested in youth churches😂 So, I had no information about the Shelter.

I eventually picked the church for my IT and on my first service in July 2024, I was wondering what was happening to me😂😂 It felt like I was not new there. It was home for me and I heard the Lord say to me ‘Welcome Home’

My second service was Bible bingeing service and I loved everything about it. We were divided into groups and asked to do a study on a topic. We get to discuss in each groups and one representative will come out to teach the church.

Anyways, I was picked as the representative in my group on my SECOND Sunday in church 😭😂

You can tell I was really into it because I am very intentional about sound doctrine and prayers. RCCG, The Shelter surpassed this expectation oooo.

Solid solid teachers of God’s word and men who are devoted to prayers. A very balanced church I must say.

This message! This day! Ahhhhhhh

January 2025, I had started settling in and I had just completed my workers orientation but I was actually fighting for my life. Thank God I was not lost in the fire oooo. I didn’t have a job at the time and this was about when I joined church and I didn’t tell anyone.

I avoided talking to anyone so I don’t mention that I am jobless 😂 Little did I know oooo. Just follow me🤣

My last MC job was for my friend’s mum’s 60th birthday

And she told me, “Please, my mum does want too much talking.”

And your girl listened!

Kept it simple, engaging and classy, just the way she wanted it. And the best part? The celebrant was happy!

Sometimes, being a good MC is knowing when to talk and when to let the event flow.
