Last Friday I lost one of my closest mates I’ve ever had.
Whiskas has been in my life for 20 years, and has seen and been through so many major events in my life.
I felt like we understood each other a lot more than most.
She offered me comfort, love and silent understanding, and I like to think I offered her the same.
She offered me a sense of sanity when I felt there was so little around me at times.
She outlived my brother, and countless other pets we’ve had, she’s a legend for pushing on this far.
She used to love me playing piano, and she loved to sleep in my arms, even so much she used to try get in between me and ex-partners I’ve had, and I usually gave her right of way haha.
She died peacefully in my arms last Friday, and I will always remember the great times we shared, and how loved she me made me feel.
I hope she’s in a better place now, I’ll miss her a lot.
Been pretty shattered since this has happened but I’ll always remember the bond we shared, and treasure it.
