Things I wish I understood better when I started oil painting.
Every teacher has always said “use less medium when you start a painting” I took that info and used almost none.
Painting straight out the tube. That can be challenging adding the proper medium at the proper ratio can transform the experience.
I’m far from the best painter but I’m not bad either 😂
Quick tip for painting when it comes to mediums less is more.
First layer needs to dry fast and following layers need to dry progressively slower. This will endure your painting doesn’t crack over time. by @tomjohnvon

3 things I wish I new about social media when I started painting.

The tech gods will own us and we will like it!

It’s digital crack rock and literally makes us dumber but it feels good now!
