A lot of you know me personally, but not everyone knows the story behind my brand — @lolablankets. I started Lola Blankets from my studio apartment in 2021 alongside my brother @willsonhigham in memory of our mom Amy Higham, our Lola. My mom lived a life filled with love, service, and courage. Through years of living with breast cancer, she found peace and comfort in her soft, faux-fur blanket — a small refuge during some of her hardest days. That same blanket soon became a symbol of love for our family. Before she passed, my mom gifted my siblings and I our own, identical to hers, so that we would always feel her love wrapped around us even when she could no longer be there. What started as an idea and way to keep my mom’s legacy to live on has grown into something I never could have imagined — the #1 blanket brand in the world and an unbelievable community built around the softest blanket on the market. I’m going to start sharing more of the story, the journey, and the behind the scenes of building Lola here. Thanks for being here so far — excited for what’s ahead. by @tomkattt
