Thankful that Jesus made another way… that He is the way… that through Him I can experience life where there was death, hope where there was despair, and relationship where there was separation. Easter at Kinhouse Church by @tomlancaster

i am well aware, i am not enough
to lead what God has given us the responsibility to lead…

and yet…

God is able.
God is faithful.
God is sovereign.
God is holy.
God is good.
God is enough…

the past 12 months have been evidence of this:
the goodness of God meeting the willingness of people!

we brought all we have and God multiplied it.

all the boy had was 5 loaves and 2 fish…
it wasn’t enough yet God…
all david had was 5 stones, all moses had was his staff, all noah had was the wood to build an ark, all joshua had was a better perspective, all abraham had was a belief that what God said was true.

none of it was enough and yet God…

God met them all and multiplied what they had to make room for a miracle!

ALL YOU NEED IS ALL YOU HAVE!

That’s the story of Kinhouse Church.
ordinary people bringing what they have and seeing God meet the gap and multiply the little we had…

month after month, sunday after sunday, miracle after miracle!

We are so thankful for every single person on the team who have selflessly served, built, prayed, created, cared, loved, given, dreamt and said yes… yes to God, yes to the vision, yes to a city… thank you!

zürich we love you and this is just the biginging, bening, the biningning…

merely the beginning

looking back on year one, miracle after miracle, life after life changed by the presence and goodness of God.

shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
know that the Lord is God. it is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
for the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

FOURTY ONE
I turned 41 on January 25th and i woke up full of gratitude for what God has given me, my wife and best friend that i love deeply and am thankful for daily. my kids are my greatest gift, and being a father is my favourite responsibility. i’m surrounded by great people that God has blessed me with and mostly i’m grateful to God. honestly, i shouldn’t be here… but God has been faithful. He has rescued me, lifted me up, pushed me forward and pulled me into my future more times than i can count and my response at 41 is God you can have it all, i’m fully surrounded to whatever you have planned this year, this decade, this life.

Been feeling deeply convicted about a need to talk about Relationships… Love, how it all works! not based on my own ideas, experiences or preferences but based on the overarching principles and guidance of scripture. So, that being said. February at Kinhouse Church we’ll be exploring the study of relationships rooted in scripture.

The Whisper of Wyoming

Wyoming has a way of slowing you down, confiscating your agenda and stowing your worries, just so you can be.

From the glow of early morning sunrises, to the light evening breeze brushing across the high desert plains, to wild deer wandering the landscape and the effortless silence of acres of open space inviting you to be still.

It’s in moments like these that I find myself grateful and hopeful, pausing long enough to see and silent long enough to hear the God whisper, “Well done, my son. I’m pleased with you.”

It shouldn’t always take a trip out west.
Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn’t.

I’ve learned that God will use anything. Moments of intention. Moments of design. Moments when the volume on distraction is turned low enough for you to hear that whisper.

The whisper is God’s invitation to be.
His beckoning to become.
His longing for proximity.
His call to contemplate.

It doesn’t take a Wyoming to hear it.
God will use Wyoming, but the whispers are constant. They are calling out now, they were calling all day, they will call tomorrow.

Those whispers are carried in the wind, searching for the ear that turns toward them, waiting, hoping, listening with intention and desire.

Those who ask will receive.
Those who seek will find.
Those who knock, the door will be opened.

The voice of the Father is here to be heard, by anyone willing to listen. taken in Wyoming by @tomlancaster

I see a near revival. Stirring as we pray and seek. We’re on our knees.

summer dump and rest.

honest moment. i find it so difficult to rest. by default i live and build on the foundation that i must work hard, always. hard work is not a bad mentality in and of itself but it is when you and those around you suffer from your inability to rest. to press pause. truthfully: rest is the most productive thing you can do.

God has been teaching me again and again the value of margin and rest with Him. learning how to walk in His rhythm and aligned with His agenda. by @tomlancaster
