Very proud to sign with @thecoastihc for the inaugural season for the @pacific_hockey_league. Am super excited to be bringing elite hockey back to the central coast and taking a big step forward for Australian ice hockey with the PHL. A huge thanks to the @newnorthstars for the opportunity over the last year and all the fans who supported us through the McCormick Cup in 2021. If anyone has any questions about the PHL or The Coast, feel free to shoot me a message. I think there a lot of opinion floating around out there regarding the league and players moving over, and I am open to discussing these with you if you want a perspective of someone who is making the change. Anyway, can't wait for the season to start and face off against some old friends in the @adelaideavalanche @ducksmelbourne @brisbanerampage. - - - #pacifichockeyleague #phl #icehockey #icehockeyaustralia #aussiegoalielife #thecoastphl #adelaideavalanche #melbourneducks #semiprohockey #bauerhockey #bauergoalie #goalielife #goalieguild #skatersnetwork taken in Erina Ice Arena by @tomlash

New @tomlasher Vlog Live!!! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0-iLDBR20TQnrICB5QibpQ This week we ice skate, do stretches, go to work, then it rains, then we go ice skating again, then I do some exercise. last "make up"episode before we are on the week to week, and with preseason training starting with the team it's time to get up to date! So throw it on while you're doing the dishes or having a bubble bath and peer through the window into the Aussie Goalie Life! - - - #hockey #hockeygame #hockeygoalie #hockeygoalietraining #goaliedrills #hockeyskills #icehockey #icehockeygoalie #bauergoalie #skatersnetwork #ccm #truegoalie #warriorgoalie #kovagoalie #hockeytraining #aihl #hockeyfamily #ggsu #goalieguild #ingoal #goalieunion #icehockeyaustralia #goaliegram #newcastlenorthstars #hockeydrills #goaliecoach #hockeycoach #hockeylife #goalietraining #iceskating by @tomlash

A few months ago I was watching a Vlog from a pro goalie in the NHL/SHL and wished that I had some kind of guidance or accessable role model when I was a young goalie. I thought about how young Aussie golaies and players don't have anything out there that really speaks to their experience playing in a country like Australia and what it's like to play at our highest level. I thought about how much hockey has given me purpose and direction when I was going through the hardest time of my life, and put me on track to be a better person. I wanted to try and create something that could do the same for another young hockey player out there, or just a hockey fan in Australia, give them something to engage with and experience the love of the game. Here I am months and many hours of trial and error later, absolutely flying by the seat of my pants, getting ready to take a big step on the path to achieving that goal. Head over to my @tomlasher Instagram and keep and eye out for my first episode this Saturday 19.02.22. All I can say is trust me, they have gotten better since the first one! And thanks to the 100 people who have already followed the insta, I am hoping to grow that so I can get this thing out as far as it can go so please if you haven't already, go over and throw me a follow. Also a huge special thanks to @skatersnetwork_sydney for coming on board before this thing has even launched. It means a lot to have you in my corner from the word go. And finally a huge thank you to my amazingly talented and wonderful wife @hannah.bacon.design for answering all of my repeated stupid questions about how to use Premier Pro and how to build a brand and not be a moron on the internet. Head over and give her a follow to check out all my branding once it's launched! Who knows what is happening with hockey in Australia this year, all I know is that I am looking forward to taking you along for the ride. I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed creating. Catch you on Saturday ❤️ taken in Newcastle, New South Wales by @tomlash
