A last Goodbye my friend but never to be forgotten. by @tomlopato

This is a one-off original painting I did back in 1994 in Kent whilst I was at Art Collage. It was inspired by our minds and our thoughts and how the intersection of our waking thoughts, the subconscious mind and the vivid fluid landscape of psychedelic like dreams represent our imagination and creativity. This makes a dreamlike landscape, perhaps a forest which we can take a dreamy walk through.

Oil on canvas.

I'm very proud to be related to Ric Rothwell who was the fabulous drummer with 'Wayne Fontana & The Mindbenders' and later with 'The Mindbenders' in the swinging 60's. Great Beat music from the Manchester scene recorded at the legendary Strawberry Studios in Stockport.

Working as a part of the video crew at music festivals does also involve a lot of just hanging around the Front Of House and the backstage and onstage areas. Always being ready for action.
