Happy 9 years to @ezra_the_nissan_figaro who we purchased back in this day in 2016! Oh my god the time has flown past, he’s currently off the road due to a few issues but he will hopefully be back in 2026! I can’t believe how fast these years have gone past, you are the most painful money pit ever but I love ya! Here’s to a lifetime more of fun & adventures in this old fucker!🖤 #nissanfigaro #gaybear #bearsofinstagram #bearstagram by @tommybear767

A little change of direction on here. ☺️

I think I’ve spent a little too long trying to fit into a scene that never really felt like me. Somewhere along the way, I started feeling like I had to share more of myself and post certain things to connect with people, and if I’m honest, it never really felt right. There’s nothing wrong with expressing yourself however you choose, but I’ve realised that it’s not how I want to show up online anymore. I’d rather get back to the things I genuinely enjoy. Cars, travelling, life, the odd selfie and whatever else takes my fancy. No big statement or negativity towards anyone or anything. Just a reminder to myself that I don’t need to be someone I’m not to find where I belong. A little less trying to fit in, a little more being myself. 🖤 #gaybear #nissanfigaro #findingmyself #gayuk #lifestyle taken in United Kingdom by @tommybear767

Happy 13th Anniversary to @gurt_the_nissan_figaro 💚 My pride and joy & best friend! Time has flown by, she came into my life when I was 12 years old and now I’m 25. She’s had countless washes over the years since she and Ezra have washes multiple times a week, consumed thousands of pounds in super unleaded and travelled most of the UK! She is currently on 208.8K miles and when I passed my test in her in 2018 she had just 74K miles so she has done a lot of travelling! The song being used for this post has a funny story, before the radio stopped working the CD player jammed a CD in and this song got stuck on repeat, it became Gurt’s favourite song clearly!🤷‍♀️ She is honestly more than a car to me, she is my best friend, I’ve laughed, loved and cried in her, travelled the country in her, met so many wonderful people with her and grown up with her. I will never ever sell her or Ezra. She has had a rough year, alternator failure and a fight with a HGV within 10 hours of each other… but she survived, she actually had a really good year aside from that! New rear shocks, a service and a tyre is all she has needed aside from the alternator! She’s been to the peak district and tackled a 22% incline gradient (difficult for a 90’s car with a 3 speed automatic gearbox!!) and so many other places. I cannot wait to someday drive her across Europe. I’ve learned a lot with her, I’ve learnt DIY, who knew changing a roof was that fun?! Also loving tapping the dashboard every hundred miles to congratulate her on a job well done, saying sorry to her on every pothole and having the best time behind the wheel. So here’s to Gurt the Figaro, more than a car, an icon, a piece of me, I wouldn’t be who I am today without you Gurt. Some may laugh at this and think it’s ridiculous but I love her. She’s been there whenever I’ve needed an escape, she’s shaped a lot of me. So here’s a few photos of her adventures over the years to honour this special day. Her Instagram is tagged above for anyone who would like to follow her journey. Who knew a Figaro that was in a private collection would go on to be the highest mileage one out there (recorded) love ya Gurt 💚 #nissanfigaro #gaybear #gayuk taken in United Kingdom by @tommybear767

Being a gay man who is a classic car owner is fun and yet lonely. As much as I enjoy posting the content I usually do, sometimes I think how nice it would be to have someone to share a life with and go on roadtrips and to shows with. Or even mates that get the fun of it, most gays don’t seem to share any interest in them at all. They think of a sexual benefit “oh fuck me on the bonnet”. No. This is my pride and joy. “Take me for a drive” just so they can post it on their socials and then never interact with me again? I get everyone has different passions but I do find it difficult finding like minded people even to have friendships with. But at least I’ll always have the two Figaro’s, passenger seat at worst case can hold onto the snacks!✌️ Anyway, Gurt & Ezra I fucking love you! And this is our favourite song!✌️😁Not a pity post, just wanted to voice how I felt sometimes and share a lovely pic with my baby!💚🖤 #gaybear #bearscubsandbeards #bearscubsandscruff #gayuk #bearsofinstagram taken in United Kingdom by @tommybear767

It’s not a thirst trap for once! It’s a travelling photo! Greta roadtrip so far, Gurt is at home having some TLC, so we’ve braved it in a rental this time around. Really looking forward to potentially moving here! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 #gaybears #bearscubsandscruff #bearscubsandbeards #gaybearded #gaybearsandcubs taken in English/scottish Border. by @tommybear767
