Was going to wait and do another weekly post but Burano and Torcello deserve their own. Fishermen. Lace Makers, habitats of the Aquapelago and Barene.

Navigating the intersection of memory and ecology. 🇮🇹

As a current resident at the @emilyharveyfoundation in Venice, Tom Pearson ( @tompearsonnyc — co-director @thirdrailprojectsnyc ) is drafting “GESTURES for Rising Waters,”—a score book of Fluxus-inspired scenarios designed to address climate chaos through multimedia audience activations.

A study in environmental vulnerability and the hydraulics of memory, the work will eventually invite participatory engagement, intervention, and co-creation opportunities in an iterative series of engagements. TBD.

You can follow Tom’s journey and the development of the work here and at @tompearsonnyc —

Same footprint, entirely different experience! Swipe to see how we transformed a shabby lawn into a luxurious private sanctuary.

Its been an exciting and energetic July, teaching immersive theater practices to educators from around the United States as part of @broadwayteachinggroup summer intensive in New York City. It’s hard to believe it’s half over. I’ve met so many great friends, both old and new, with unexpected guests from my alma mater @florida.school.of.the.arts amongst them.
