“If there is one thing I could teach my daughter, it’s that everything in this word has value, even waste. We just need to change how people perceive it.” In our brand-new video, William, our colleague in our office in Xiamen, China, gets to the essence of what we at TOMRA are passionate about and explains how our sorting solutions help give material a second, third and many more lives. #WeAreTOMRA #resourcerevolution #resourcerecovery #recycling #sorting #passion by @tomrarecycling
What a fantastic PPRC last week! 👏♻️ A big thank you to all our customers, partners, industry leaders, and everyone who took the time to visit our booth and meet with our team in Chicago. We were delighted to see such strong interest in our solutions, from sorting and digital technologies to advanced analytics. Thank you for the engaging discussions. We look forward to building on these conversations and continuing to work together to advance circularity in the U.S. and beyond. by @tomrarecycling
No two weeks in metal recycling look exactly the same. Input materials change, market demand shifts and new sorting tasks emerge. That makes operational flexibility essential, both in the technology and within the team running it. At Nord-Schrott, their operators have been trained by us to adapt and fine-tune sorting programs as material streams change, helping the operation respond quickly while maintaining stable production. It shows what becomes possible when flexible sorting technology is combined with experienced operators who understand both the material and the process. by @tomrarecycling
We're delighted that AUTOSORT™ PULSE has been recognized with the 2026 Metals Innovation Initiative InnoSearch Award for Best Innovations Across the Metals and Manufacturing Lifecycle. 🏆 At the conference, Giuseppe Granara presented how our Dynamic LIBS technology helps recyclers turn mixed metal scrap into high-value feedstock by identifying materials based on their elemental composition. Originally setting a benchmark for industrial-scale aluminum alloy sorting, AUTOSORT™ PULSE is now also enabling advanced sorting applications for stainless steel, heavy metals, magnesium, and incinerator bottom ash. Thank you to the judging panel for this recognition, and congratulations to everyone at TOMRA Recycling who contributed to making Dynamic LIBS such a highly valued solution for the metals recycling industry. 👏 by @tomrarecycling
What if your sorting line could tell you where valuable material is being lost? The Waste Analyzer, powered by PolyPerception, tracks and classifies material across the sorting process in real time. This gives operators a clearer view of composition, throughput, recovery and purity in one platform. From identifying performance gaps to generating reports and setting operational alerts, the platform turns complex plant data into practical action. Operators can also ask questions about plant performance in plain language and receive clear, data-backed answers. Swipe through for five reasons why the Waste Analyzer is helping recycling operations make faster, data-informed decisions. by @tomrarecycling
Thank you, Eco Expo Brazil! We had a great time connecting with so many customers, partners and industry friends during last week's Eco Expo Brazil in São Paulo. The conversations at our stand highlighted a shared focus on improving material quality, increasing recovery rates and creating stronger markets for recycled plastics. They also reinforced one key message: efficient sorting remains a critical enabler of a circular plastics value chain. Thank you to everyone who visited us in São Paulo. We look forward to continuing the conversation and to collectively advance circularity across the region. by @tomrarecycling
Under the PPWR, material quality is becoming increasingly connected to market access. Meeting recycled-content requirements is not simply about recovering more plastic. The circular value chain needs consistent recycled material fractions that meet defined quality requirements and can be used in demanding packaging applications. Even small improvements in purity can influence where a recycled material can be used and the value it can achieve. Advanced object recognition, precise material separation and high-purity flake sorting therefore play an increasingly important role. Heading to ECO Expo Brazil? From 20-22 October, TOMRA Recycling will be at ECO Expo Brazil in São Paulo, where we'll be showcasing our latest sorting solutions for plastics recycling. Visit us at Stand B30 to meet the team and discuss how advanced sorting technology can help improve material quality, increase recovery rates and support the production of high-quality recycled plastics. Our experts will be available throughout the event to talk about: ✅ Optical sorting for plastics recycling ✅ AI-powered sorting technologies ✅ Flake sorting solutions ✅ How data-driven insights can help optimize recycling operations We look forward to meeting recyclers, partners and industry professionals from across the region. See you there 👋 📍 ECO Expo Brazil 2026 📅 20-22 October 2026 📌 Stand B30, São Paulo, Brazil by @tomrarecycling
🤝 A strong sorting process depends on how each stage works together. Our collaboration with Nord-Schrott has grown over almost two decades, from recovering metals from complex input streams to producing defined, high-quality fractions. By combining our in-house developed sensor technologies designed for different sorting tasks, the process can recover more value while maintaining a stable material flow from bulk recovery to final upgrading. Thank you to the Nord-Schrott team for the trust and long-standing partnership. by @tomrarecycling
A strong start to #ALUMINIUM2026! Thanks to everyone who visited us and shared their sorting challenges on day one. 🙌 Today, we’re back in Hall 5 at Booth 5B59, presenting our latest technologies for recovering and upgrading aluminium and other valuable metals. Whatever your sorting challenge, our team is ready to listen, share expertise and explore the right approach with you. See you at the booth! 👋 by @tomrarecycling
♻️ Two days of knowledge sharing, technology demonstrations and discussions on the future of plastic packaging recycling. We recently had the pleasure of welcoming the team from @corepla_consorzio, a consortium representing almost 2,500 companies across Italy’s plastic packaging value chain, for a two-day technical exchange. The program included a workshop and live demonstrations at the TOMRA Test Center, followed by a visit to a @remondis_official sorting facility. We explored current challenges in plastic packaging recycling and discussed how innovation, artificial intelligence and advanced sorting solutions can support the continuous improvement of recycling systems and circularity. We also exchanged perspectives on collection, sorting and recycling systems in Italy and Germany. Thank you to everyone involved for the open exchange and valuable insights. Collaboration across the recycling value chain is essential to drive innovation, enable continuous improvement and advance circularity. by @tomrarecycling
🌍 Across TOMRA Recycling, colleagues came together throughout September for our annual Clean-Up Month. From Mülheim-Kärlich to Parma, Senec and beyond, teams joined forces to collect litter, clean up local areas and contribute to healthier communities. Year after year, Clean-Up Month reminds us that positive change starts locally and that collective action can make a meaningful difference. ♻️ by @tomrarecycling
