Our debut album ’Bones to Wrap Blankets Around’ is out today. Everything that we love about playing in a band together we put into this record. Making this album has been the biggest thing we’ve ever done and we’re so happy with how it turned out. Recorded most of it down in Tassy over two weeks in the middle of winter, we all slept on the floor of the tracking room. The rest of it was recorded in Melbourne in our shed and at Bellbird Studio in Collingwood. We can’t thank enough the people involved: Stu Cam at @futurestatestudios for producing with us and engineering, @tomiansek for mixing the whole thing and producing Can’t Stop Smiling, @lachlanjc for mastering, @hjbaker_ for taking the sleeve photo and @https_dru for design.

Extra thanks to Rana Morgan, Suzie Moss, Ally Oliver, Tom Fraser, Jo Syme, Harry Baker, Jimmy Stuchberry, Ralph Verna, our parents and families.

We hope you enjoy this album, it’s been a wild ride and we love you all.

Love from Mood Spill

♾️Double infinity♾️ @bigthiefmusic acting as a mantra for these days.

“In the arms of the one I love
Still seein’ pictures of
Another from the future or the past
What’s lost or waitin’
Troubled mind, let me rest
My life is full, my heart is blessed
And still you put me to the test
Of losin’ and of gainin’
Angel come, take my hand
Hold me close, let me land
On my feet in the sand
With the wind around me ragin’
I’ve been too long behind these walls
Inside this house, ignorin’ calls
And time moves like the water falls
Unrelentin’, cascadin’
The trees on fire, the rivers flood
And all the banks are soaked in blood
A mirror makes a portrait draws the shadow
And the shadin’
The butterflies on the summer breeze
The wildflowers sway with ease
At the bridge of two infinities
What’s been lost and what lies waitin’” by @tomriccioni
