The Mopars. A pretty late decision to enter. A let’s roll with it attitude. Busted a fuel pressure regulator Saturday morning, missed a qualifying round, lucky find or we would probably have a burnt out car. Robbed parts off Stuart’s broken car, back in the game. Qualified 8/15 fell that helped us on our way with a a few broken opponents but then the work stared in the semi final. Tough competition to get around managed to take the stripe against Kate booth and saw the win light come on, then over to a final against the one and only @gc12_ht lucky for us it went our way. I took the stripe and thought it had gone under index but thank the lord for the win light on the wall 🫡 over the moon. Not bad for a ‘let’s test the car some more’ weekend. I can’t think the people around me enough. Turns out we have ticked one of them boxes and finally got a win along with that comes the fantastic trophy that I’ve wanted since I first raced with the circus. 3 cars, 3 finals, finally 1 trophy 🏆 😂 by @tomscustomshop

@linusthepainter came over to fill the lower door gap. As always highly recommend, awesome work and a great guy! Easy to deal with and loves sign writing! by @tomscustomshop

Some passers by the pit at Dragstalgia had a keen eye and spotted the new seat cover.
Another little detail in the car thanks to @redhead.auto.upholstery and @103enfo for getting this sorted!

Santapod recently saw the track debut of the @wickedwitchgasser
After many winter delays I finally got set for helping @woodybtc be it a little close to comfort to dragstalgia we figured why not we like the pressure!!The Austin got dropped off to me with various parts and we wiggled and jiggled things together. To eventually see the light at the end of the tunnel. We had serious limited time but the key things were done. Last minute hurdles such as a prop that didn’t fit were ideal. Again, good people around us ment that Wednesday evening the final bits were done and in 36 deg we loaded it up for it to be taken straight to dragstalgia! Woody started off slow but by the end of the weekend ran a stonking 11 second pass. Amazing for his first time in a drag car let alone this tiny little Austin! This little Austin has plenty more to give!! Thanks again to John, Lee, Drew, Alex, Rob and Martin through out the time it was with me we’re pushing and shoving and helping in the final stages!

Q3 and Q4 @ Dragstalgia have been fun.
10.836 on a 10.84, too fast but fairly judged.
Q4 10.85 on a 10.83 .02 light
Pleased with that.
Winter changes have proved to make a difference for reliability and consistency.
More tweaks to be made long term but right now we’re all happy with the car

Thanks to Everyone around me that has made this possible.

On Thursday I was close to calling it a day and throwing the towl in. I was told you’re not doing that and here we are.

Thanks 👍🏻 by @tomscustomshop
