It was the definition of a good party with great people on the dancefloor till the end. Really happy to catch some familiar faces not seen since the Covid and long time friends there too ❤️

Hier, nous clôturions cette série de rendez-vous d’été, je voulais donc simplement prendre un moment pour remercier celles et ceux qui ont contribué à les faire vivre.

Merci aux DJs pour leurs remarquables sets, leur confiance et les bons moments partagés derrière les platines 🙌

Pour clôturer la dernière IMH de l’été, rendez-vous ce dimanche au Centre Équestre Le Comte à Hem.

Pour info : l’Open Air se déroule dans l’espace jardin de 16h à 22h, puis on passe dans les 2 rooms de 22h à 2h.

Les dernières places sont encore disponibles et, pour celles et ceux qui ont leur place gratuite, n’oubliez pas d’arriver avant 19h.

En cas d’intempéries, les 2 salles seront disponibles en solution de repli : la première ventilée et la seconde climatisée.

Eventide H3500

When you look into the House, Techno and Hip-Hop productions of the 90s, you inevitably come across this whole rackmount culture: Eventide, Lexicon, AMS, Roland, Ensoniq… Machines that were an integral part of the studio, with their processing often being just as important as the instruments themselves.

The H3500 belongs to that great family of Eventide harmonizers. Pitch shifting, micro-pitch, delays, detuning, stereo effects… a whole sonic vocabulary that could bring width, movement, or simply a particular character to a sound.

And that’s probably what I like most about it today: it’s not a machine that tries to be invisible.

You feed it a sound, push it a little, shift it, blend it… and the machine starts telling a different story.

Back then, we had fewer choices, but every machine had its own character. You learned its quirks, its limitations, its little tricks… and that’s how you eventually turned it into an instrument in its own right.

That’s also why I still love these old rack units today.

Simply because they have a history, a culture, and above all, a sound.
