This film kinda kicked off my directing career! 🫨

Fun fact: the project initially started as a beauty spec! And I still don't know how we ended up with this moody piece about acceptance and strength. But even after 5 years, I love how this turned out.

Recently I took the time to revisit the film, flaws and all, and tweaked some of it to get it even closer to the vision I had in mind back then. A stronger sound design, punchier colours, some VFX.

This is THE BEAUTY IN DIFFERENCE 2026.

How did I miss this? 🫣

I recently realised I never posted the full Polaroid film on here, only some snippets. So I went back, picked up some pieces that got lost on the cutting room floor and gave the whole piece a fresh look.

Now here it is, in full length. The Bigger Picture for Polaroid. A true team effort and still one of my favourite projects. I'm still amazed at what we pulled off with what we had.

Back to basics with a chopped up music video for this insane tune. Happy to share the work I did for my dear friend @arpen_daks and his first music release in years. I had the chance to not only direct this fun piece, but also serve as creative director for the whole release campaign of his upcoming EP “There Never Was A Golden Age”, creating everything from typography and more.
Thanks a lot to the lovely people who supported us on this one, especially my brother @juragermanyuk for the great photography and @xaver_neumann for coming in to lens the video.

Had a lot of fun shooting this film with @lukaswillasch and @markenfilmcrossing in Hamburg and Switzerland. I'm happy to finally share the DC.
This one was all about creating some fun shots and transitions, some with the help of AI, but most of it done the good old-fashioned way in camera. Seamlessly bringing all the tools together is still the most exciting part of this job for me!

Cabin crew, prepare for take-off ✈️

Had a lot of fun earlier this year with my friends at @mcqueenfilms in Switzerland. Although my focus is currently on developing myself in a more comedic direction, I do enjoy the excursions into clean studio settings from time to time.
Planning out this film, which was originally written to be a one-shot, was definitely a challenge. But together with @jonassteinbacher.dop we were able to pull it off and let me just say this: we even wrapped 2 hours early 🤭
