Emmy-considered Animator or something

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

In honour of the Emmy noms coming out in a few weeks (and being personally considered to MAYBE get a nom - which I’m absolutely humbled and STOKED by ♥️🤙🏻)

Here’s an edit of some favourite shots I worked on from Good Times.

And if you HAVE a vote to cast - do consider this Australian animator who would love a chance to fly to the US and have an excuse to buy some flashy pants 👖✨

in honour of someone recognising me IRL from Insta yesterday, and asking “hey, you were doing a graphic novel thing, it was cool, where is it?” (Which, first off, is absolutely astronomical for the dopamine, and secondly, super lovely) ….I’m posting some WIPS!!

I’ve gotten the script all done for starchasers just this month!! Woooooo! So enjoy some nugget sized bites while I keep cooking up the whole mchicken inbetween animation projects!

(And shoutout sis, thanks for sayin hi, I know I seein’ this 🙏)

Good Times launched on Netflix last week and I got to work with some real talented folk on it.

It’s a wild ride and a LOT of fun - I’d say give it a watch - but maybe not with ya ma ❤️😂 by @tomtayyanco

Shout to miss @therachelburch, awarded podcaster AND ongoing patron of the arts - for commissioning me TWICE, in fact. 💁🏼‍♀️

It’s always fun to look back and see the growth in yourself too, when you compare a 3 year gap between drawing the same host!

From wild dating stories in Love before 100 to spiritual pursuits of purpose in A Story Worth Living - she does some great stuff. Acclaimed, even, you may say. and it was a real joy to inject some soul and laughs into these tiny little thumbnails you’ll see on Spotify. 🤲🏻✨ by @tomtayyanco

Happy Easter weekend to those who celebrate!! 🙏🔥❤️

Been out long enough that I can post about it THIS Easter - but I got to live my franscescan monk dream and craft 7 massive stained glass window murals, real deal Catholicá style, for the CREATR guys last year-ish

It’s pretty special knowing its out there in the world - with such a great diversity of people able to find themselves in this story 🙏❤️🔥
Especially this time of year.

In true Yanco style it’s a little theatrical and dramatic - but LOWKEY where else can you do it if not here lmao 🤌🏻✝️✨ by @tomtayyanco

Summer fun with @brandonlake & @philwickham 🏝️🏄‍♀️🏄

An electrifying project with the radical folks over at avenircreativehouse hitting out a series of punchy retro graphic style shorts for @summerworshipnights
From absurd scripts to kidnapping @josiahqueenmusic we had a blast. He-man eat your heart out.

(Extra love for the team who helped add their special touches to make it sing 🗣️✨@artofgnomes @spindly.cow ) by @tomtayyanco

STARCHASERS is most definitely a family affair (at least for a bit at the start - OOFT 💀 NO SPOILERS) and what screams family more than bragging about your kids.
An art form that extends all cultures, alien and otherwise.

So have an excerpt from Act 1 where we meet grandad and some of his old mates (in full TECHNICOLOUR no less)

My Art Direction now also includes LIVE storyboarding ON-SET, for NO extra cost.

Sound amazing? You can call me on
“1800-GIVEMEARTTOM”, and I will stroke my chin and point at things while muttering “THE VISION!”™️

Client: @ijm
Studio: @cadence.media

Seriously though, a pretty special project with some incredible people for a really great cause.

First two are some stills from the final piece and have some BTS shenanigans for fun, gotta do more ‘Clean Grunge’ stuff Fr, I love how some of the deigns came out. by @tomtayyanco
