Lonely Tree LP + @yesnomono

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Lonely Tree is out everywhere today.

Thank you to everyone who helped put this record together, I couldn’t have done it without you.

This is my first solo record and is a big milestone for me. It’s about stepping out on my own, about being the lonely tree. I’m so proud of it. I hope you find something special in it. Thanks for listening.

Last saturday with @alicesingscommunitychoir for their ten year anniversary show in my home town Mparntwe/Alice Springs.

Such a pleasure to sing my songs with so many voices, local musicians and feel the love of home. Is really such a unique and special place. by @tomvsnowdon

Some of my earliest memories of singing are in the Alice Springs kids choir. I remember liking all the moody slow songs. I was five or six.

This weekend I’m heading back home to perform some of my songs with @alicesingscommunitychoir for their ten year anniversary concert. Such a cool community project with lots of desert voices. Haven’t sung with a choir since I was a wee one. Same stage. Going full circle. Come along and celebrate.

What I Hide - 3/3 Lonely Tree done solo and low key 🦋

This piece was originally written for a contemporary dance production, the scene to @waangenga______ ‘s solo in the show. No words or vocal then, the music was enough. Evolved into a story and song for Lonely Tree. by @tomvsnowdon

Lonely Tree live shows done for this run. Thanks so much to everyone who came out and shared these songs in rooms in different places.

It meant so much to connect with you, to perform them, to sing with people again. Will be lots more coming.

Huge thanks to the 1Nonly Al (@vlossummm), @andrewcrosbiesound + @gracewoodroofe for joining.
