Making room for better hamster housing, one smash at a time 😆💥

This video is dedicated to every hamster who has ever had to live in one of these plastic prisons. 3 of these cages got taken out today which means 3 less hamsters have to live in neglectful tiny jail cells. Sending love to all the hammies! 🐹💗

Just a few of my favorite photos of Cinder ❤️

Please note the last slide shows Cinder after she passed. I normally do not share these photos but I have truly never seen a hamster look so at peace. I found her curled up in her forever sleep in her cozy tunnel. ❤️ by @tonah_pets

There really aren’t words but I’m going to try.

Cinder was my soul hamster. Since the first week of adopting her from the SPCA we clicked and she was my tiny best friend. She took up so little space but a huge part of my heart. Almost everyday I would walk by her enclosure and see her begging to be held. Most often she didn’t even want a treat she just wanted to be loved on. I got to love her for a full 2 years and for that I am so grateful. Rest easy my sweet Cinder, and know from the moment I saw you, you were loved and wanted ❤️ by @tonah_pets

Always a special moment when a new rescue hammie decides to be brave and trust you for the first time 🥰🐹🥹

This pet store was also the exact store that my newest rescue hamsters were originally bought from.

I looked around to see if there were any products that could be bundled together for a decent set up and I am not exaggerating when I say there was almost nothing!

A note to all pet stores, please do better for the care of your hamsters and set new hamster owners up for success instead of a life of neglect and abuse from horrible living conditions!

The original owner said they were bought in a big box pet store, their ages are unknown, and she had no idea about the genders.

This family was so sweet. It just goes to show the people putting these hamsters through neglect and abuse are not horrible mean people, they are just normal families who didn’t take a few minutes to do research before buying a pet.

I hope this video can help spread awareness on the importance of taking time before buying any animal to research and make sure you are prepared for their lifespan and proper care requirements!

These cuties will be available soon. Located in Central, FL. Please DM if interested! Enclosure pictures will be required before adoption 💗🐹
