Is there more perfect summer noodles than Hiyashi Chuka? Starting May 21, it is available at Tonchin New York and Brooklyn all day, every day until September 7th.For many in Japan, the arrival of summer is indirectly informed by a flag that says 「冷やし中華はじめました」 “We now offer Hiyashi Chuka for the year.”Hiyashi Chuka is a classic Japanese cold noodle dish that a lot of places offer only during summer. It holds almost a sentimental feeling for us when we see that flag on a street waving in hot breeze. And we wanted to bring that to nyc. Summer is here. We prepared this dish in the most traditional and in its original way as possible. Come have some Hiyashi Chuka at Tonchin that will make you feel like you’re transported back to that one summer day in Japan. by @tonchinus
