Today, I showed up with my Lil Brothers and niece to my auntie church to give my granny the flowers she deserved! What do you do when the person who take care of everybody need to be taken care of?
I love my granny so damn much… ❤️
October 4th, 2025 365 Days ago today, it was a normal Saturday morning until it wasn’t. If you know, Joyce usually the first person up before the sun but this specific morning she did her everyday routine preparing herself for the day.
My mama talking to her from one room to the other while I’m in the living room and then I stopped hearing a response from her.
So I walk in her room with my mama as she steady trying to wake my granny up . So I try to wake her up and her eyes are open as if she’s aware but as I proceeded to talk to her it was no response no physical motion or anything! BEFORE WE PANICKED, WE TRIED, WE PLAYED, WE LAUGHED TO KEEP FROM CRYING! And as I look at my mama face. She started crying as duck calling the ambulance and I’m trying to help her up so I panic mid help calling my for @nahzurr to help me with her (she was dead weight), unresponsive it was the scariest shit I ever experienced! She suffered a severe stroke!
1 year later, God showed us what he is capable of and life is so good! These are memories we’ve created since this tragic event occurred. She has motivated me in ways I could never imagine before. From the improvement she’s achieved due to speech, physical and occupational therapy. I appreciate and love this woman more and more every single day.

I did a thing yesterday, l booked a paid client!! Not a family member literally booked a client. Contracts, agreements, down payments, yap a real client. I couldn’t be happier with myself. Baby l was exhausted yesterday. Multiple parties to show to, and to set up and break down , I’m xhausted but it was all so worth it!! by @tonia.831

I wish tomorrow she was 27 a nurse, with a house, a fiance and a boat and not calling me. This baby worked me. From her first breath to 2 proms, and I’m honestly tired. But it was worth it!! Unsure if l believe in miracles but l believe in God and prayer. A doctor asked me if she don’t turn around what do l want to do? This lady went from that to this in 4 months. Forever grateful for what God did for her. Stroke survivor!! My favorite girl. 35 and done RETIRED by @tonia.831
