A great day at the office ! 🌊🏄‍♂️

Three back-to-back sessions with really lovely groups 🤙 Everyone gave it their absolute all and truly embraced the elements - braving the wild wind, bright sun, and torrential downpours - in turn being gifted with beautiful rainbows and some pretty lovely waves. Well done everyone! 🥳👏

To @tnlcommunityfund and the National Lottery players who make it possible to run these groups,

Thank you for supporting this local lifeline, year on year, there's an element of hope that we can continue doing what we do and provide necessary vitamin-sea to those who want, need and deserve it.

Everyone needs a little vitamin-sea, but it's not guaranteed and we are grateful to those that support us with grants, donations and funded research opportunities.

Each session brings an element of joy and hope to others, powerful enough to remind people why they are here and that the ocean welcomes everyone.

We're proud to be an adaptive surf school, making the beach and the water accessible to all.

Thank you #NationalLottery and to everyone that makes this possible. The most rewarding job in one of the most beautiful locations. 🌊

it's not always about the surfing... 😂

Sometimes it's dancing and crossing the road safely. 🤙

Group one of three today, who got straight into the warm up, throwing shapes and shakas for breakfast.

Followed by some messy but chunky swell, with a cross-on wind. Fun was had.

Testing our @newflowuk portable shower to rinse off the salt and sand after a day of sessions. 🚿

Super simple to use and it's going to help us:

1) Rinse ourselves off post-session 🫧
2) Keep our adaptive equipment clean ♿
3) Remove sand and salt from our boards 🏄

Some days we are using surf access vehicles, slings, helmets, seated booards and more that all rely on being cleaned to increase reliability and serviceability. Which is why fresh water is key.

Now we're keen to get a couple more for the side of the van to help students rinse their kit too. 😎

Sadly, this means our trusty broom won't get as much action, but it's done us well. 🤙

Another 6 week @bbccin funded course has come to an end,great to see these local girls develop there skills in so many ways ,the future of female welsh surfing is looking good!
