Toni Moles, known online as Toninja, bought a Kawasaki Ninja 636 at nineteen. Nothing about a sportbike suggested it was built for what came next: nine years and counting on the road together.

Toni and the bike he calls Debora have covered more than 90 countries and 250,000 km across Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. Spain to Singapore through Iran, Pakistan, India and Nepal. South Africa to Spain through more than 20 African countries. Then, in January 2025, the Darién Gap: the boat carrying them toward Panama sank, and Debora spent two days at the bottom of the Caribbean Sea before a crew of divers found in Capurganá pulled her back out.

A stock sportbike with knobbed tires and a gel seat has now seen more of the world, and been through more, than plenty of BMW GS 1200s.

Maybe it was never about riding the right adventure bike. „I thought I had lost the motorcycle I had traveled with for so many years and with which I had so many memories,“ Toni says. „We were able to save it, to rescue it from underwater, without it becoming a fossil, and that, honestly, was an even greater achievement“ than crossing Africa during a pandemic.

‎عام 2004، عندما اشتراها بعمر 19 عامًا واطلق عليها اسم “ديبورا “
كما زوّدها بإطارات مخصصة للطرق الوعرة استعدادًا لرحلاته الطويلة منذ ذلك الحين، أصبحت الدراجة رفيقته في رحلة استثنائية عبر أكثر من 90 دولة في أوروبا وآسيا وإفريقيا والأمريكيتين، وقطعا معًا نحو 250 ألف كيلومتر.
‎لكن المغامرة لم تتوقف هنا... ففي عام 2025 غرقت السفينة التي كانا على متنها أثناء التوجه نحو بنما، وبقيت الدراجة في قاع البحر الكاريي لمدة يومين قبل أن يتم انتشالها.
وبعد إصلاحها، عادت ديبورا إلى الطريق من جديد، والاجمل كونها دراجة رياضية لم يمنعها من انها تتحدى معه كل صعاب السفر ليواصلا معاً واحدة من آكثر قصص السفر على دراجة نارية غرابةً وإثارة!

Cuando pensamos en cruzar continentes, la mente nos lleva directo a una Maxi-Trail. Pero el español Toni Moles (alias ‘Toninja’ @toninja_636 ) nos demostró que para devorar el planeta solo hace falta convicción... y unos buenos neumáticos de off-road.

Toninja agarró una Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R del 2004 (a la que bautizó como “Débora”), la cargó de equipaje, le puso “zapatos con toperoles” a sus casi 130 CV de potencia y se lanzó a lo desconocido. Lo que parecía una pésima idea, terminó convirtiéndose en una hazaña brutal: cruzó la implacable ruta del Sahara hasta llegar a Dakar (Senegal), sometiendo la suspensión deportiva a un castigo extremo.

Hoy, la Ninja verde ha devorado más de 200.000 kilómetros y ha recorrido 94 países. Desde los calcinantes desiertos africanos hasta el frío invierno de Noruega, pasando por las rutas extremas de Nepal y la Ruta 40 en Argentina.

Toni Moles bought a 2004 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R at 19 years old, named her Debora, and rode her across more than 90 countries. Then she sank to the bottom of the Caribbean Sea.

Moles fitted Debora with knobby tyres and set off across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas on a sportsbike that was never designed to leave tarmac - let alone cross deserts, jungle tracks, and river crossings across four continents. 250,000 kilometres.

In 2025, while crossing toward Panama by boat, the Ninja sank. Debora went down to the Caribbean seabed. A recovery team raised her two days later. The bike was repaired. The journey continued.

There is no adventure motorcycle in this story - just a 2004 supersport, a man who refused to stop, and a machine that somehow refused to die. Kawasaki did not build the ZX-6R for this. Debora did not care.

En el rankig de comentarios más comunes, este sin duda sería uno de ellos , me encanta esta moto y más en concreto este modelo de moto , seguiré viajando siempre con la moto que más me guste , no con la más cómoda, aunque después de recorrer tantos países en ella sigo pensando que es bien cómoda 💚
