Extremely excited to finally announce my partnership with @myprotein ! 💙

If you’d told me 10 years ago, when I placed my very first Myprotein order, that one day I’d be sponsored by them, I’d never have believed it! 😂

I’ve been using Myprotein for the last 10 years, placing orders pretty much every month, and so much of my journey has been fuelled by their Impact Whey, Extra Cookies and Creatine (and a fair bit of hard work on my side too, of course! 😂).

To say I’m over the moon about this opportunity is an understatement.

I honestly can’t thank everyone on this platform enough for supporting me, encouraging me, praising me and believing in me. Without you, this opportunity would never have happened 🤍

I can’t wait to continue this journey, continuing to be fuelled by Myprotein and hopefully inspiring some of you along the way.

If you’re placing an order with @myprotein and want some extra money off, I’d be extremely grateful if you used my code TONISCHOOLS at checkout. 🫶🏼

If you ever want any advice on Myprotein products, I’ve tried many products from there and many different flavours, so I’d be more than happy to help where I can. Just drop me a DM! 🩷

And if you do use my code, please drop me a message too. I’d genuinely love to thank you personally for supporting me. 🥹

You’re all absolutely incredible, and I’ll never be able to thank you enough for all the love and support you’ve shown me.

Let the gains continue! 💪🏼

Thank you @myprotein for this amazing opportunity 💙

2018 ➡️ 2026
8 years apart.

And honestly… if you looked at these two pictures without knowing the dates, you probably wouldn’t think there was 8 years of training between them 😂

In fact, you might look at them and think, “I expected more progress than that in 8 years.”

But this is the reality of bodybuilding.

Building a physique takes YEARS. Thousands upon thousands of training sessions. Reps, sets, progressive overload, eating well, recovering, turning up when you don’t feel like it and doing it over and over again.

Muscle doesn’t appear overnight, and changing your physique is a painfully slow process.

I’m not posting this as a before-and-after because I expect you to be blown away by my transformation.

I’m posting it for the complete opposite reason.

If you’re a woman who’s scared of becoming “too bulky” or “too muscular” from lifting heavy, I hope this shows you that you really don’t have anything to worry about 😂

This is 8 years of continuous, very heavy lifting.
And yes, I’ve built muscle. But becoming genuinely muscular takes an enormous amount of time, consistency and work.

Also… I found this 2018 photo buried DEEP in my Instagram page, and it made me laugh because I’d only been properly lifting for around a year and my traps were already ridiculous 🤣

I’ve clearly always been genetically blessed in the trap department.
Which also makes me laugh when people question whether I’m natural because I have big traps…

Guys, I literally had them in my first year of lifting! 😂

8 years of work later, and I’m still chasing more 💪🏼

Years ago, I would NEVER have had the confidence to post a picture of myself looking like this. Drenched in sweat, no makeup and sweaty hair that's been crying out for a wash for days. But here we are 🥹😂

I've come a long way with my confidence, particularly when it comes to my face.

I've spent years picking it apart, scrutinising every little detail and focusing on the things I'd change. My wrinkles, lines, blemishes, my teeth. You name it, I've probably criticised it at some point.

But something I've come to realise is that the most attractive thing you can wear in a picture isn't perfect skin, a full face of makeup or perfectly styled hair. It's a smile.

You are you. If someone doesn't like how you look or doesn't find you attractive, that's okay.

But there's something incredibly liberating about being 100% authentically yourself and knowing that the people who genuinely matter care about who you are, not whether you've gained another wrinkle or your skin isn't flawless.

And maybe, instead of spending so much time identifying all our flaws, we should start identifying all the things we LOVE about ourselves.

Our kindness, our humour, our resilience, our personalities and the little things that make us who we are. Imagine how differently we'd see ourselves if we gave those things as much attention as the things we wish we could change.

I'm by no means suddenly confident in my own skin. I still have plenty of insecurities and wear makeup most days. But taking this picture last night felt freeing.
For a moment, I looked at myself completely barefaced, sweaty and in desperate need of a hair wash, and I didn't feel the need to pick myself apart. I just accepted what I saw.

Maybe it was the post-cardio high talking, but I'll take it. 😂

You don't have to think you're perfect to accept yourself. Sometimes, you just have to stop looking for everything that's wrong with you and start appreciating the person looking back at you in the mirror.

Anyway, enough of that. That's my talk for the day 😂🩷

This is a post I've wanted to share for a long time.

A lot of people might look at these two pictures and think, "Wow, she's changed so much!"

Or perhaps, "She looks really muscular in the picture on the left, but not in the one on the right."

Some might even say I look masculine in one and feminine in the other.

The truth is, I'm exactly the same in both pictures.

These photos were taken just a few months apart, and my body composition is virtually identical.

The same weight, the same muscle mass, the same body fat.

So what's different?

My outfit. The lighting. The setting. My posture. And the fact that I'm deliberately flexing in one picture to show my muscles, whereas I'm completely relaxed in the other.

It's incredibly easy to change how your physique looks depending on the lighting, the angle, whether you've got a pump on or how you're posing.

The reality is that, day to day, I look much more like the picture on the right when I'm wearing normal clothes and haven't just trained.

And this is something worth remembering, both when looking at other people's bodies on social media and when judging your own.

You can look "too big", "too small", "too muscular", "too lean", "too masculine" or "too feminine" depending on the setting, the outfit or who's looking at you.

You simply cannot judge someone's entire physique, lifestyle or appearance from one photograph. And you certainly shouldn't let somebody else's opinion dictate how you feel about your own body.

The same body can look completely different without changing at all.

So the next time you find yourself comparing your body to someone else's online, remember that you're only seeing one moment, one angle and one version of that person.

And if you've ever been made to feel like your body is somehow "too much" or "not enough", please remember that you don't have to fit into anyone else's idea of what you should look like.

You are allowed to be more than one thing. You don't have to fit into one box, and you don't have to be everyone's cup of tea.

Want to build a stronger back? 💪🏼

Start by working towards your first pull-up!
Once you've mastered one, aim for two, then three, and keep building from there 👏🏼

I started off unable to do a single one, but years of consistency and practice have got me to 10! 🔥

Be patient with yourself because pull-ups are HARD!

It took me months to get my first one, and even when you can do a few, some weeks you'll manage more reps than others. That's completely normal!

One of the best things about pull-ups is that you don't need fancy equipment or a complicated setup. Most gyms have a pull-up bar, making them a great exercise to add to your training! 🙌🏼

It can be frustrating at times, but stay consistent and don't give up. Progress isn't always linear, so celebrate the little wins, trust the process and enjoy the journey! 🩷

Happy 33rd birthday to me! 🥳🩷

I'm going to be a little raw and vulnerable for a moment and admit that I don't particularly enjoy celebrating my birthdays as I get older.

10 years ago, I'd have imagined that by 33, I'd be married, have children of my own and be living the fairytale I've dreamed of for as long as I can remember. But life hasn't quite worked out that way, and being single sometimes makes that dream feel light-years away.

Over the past year, I've come to realise that I can't compare my journey to other women my age. My path is exactly that... MINE.

My milestones don't have to happen at the same time as everyone else's. We're all on different journeys, and that's okay.

I'm incredibly fortunate to have the life I lead, and I'll always be grateful for my health, family, friends, my home and a job I genuinely enjoy.

Did I wake up today feeling a little sad that I'm 33 and nowhere near where I hoped I'd be in life?

Yes, I did.

But I'm learning that you can be grateful for what you have while still wishing for things you haven't got yet.

For now, I'm choosing to trust that life has a way of working itself out. Things might not happen when we want them to, but that doesn't mean we should give up hope.

If you're like me and sometimes feel terrified that you're falling behind everyone else when it comes to life's milestones, please know you're not alone. It's easy to compare yourself to others, but your life doesn't have to follow anyone else's timeline.

Keep smiling, finding things to be grateful for and leaving room for life to surprise you. Sometimes, the things we've been hoping for happen when we least expect them.

Anyway, enough of the deep talk! 😂

Here's a picture of me in my favourite @myprotein outfit! I thought I'd save this one for my birthday because I think it's a 10/10... and seeing as my birthday is 10/10, it seemed fitting! 🤣

Happy Saturday, everyone! Have an amazing weekend! 🫶🩷

Gone are the days of disposable cameras with only 30 shots on them. 📸

We'd take one picture, send the film off to be developed and that was it.

We couldn't look at it 50 times before deciding whether we liked it. We didn't retake it over and over trying to find the perfect angle, lighting or version of ourselves.

We just saw it as a memory. And we loved that one picture enough to put it in an album and keep it forever.

Now we can stand in front of a mirror for 10 minutes taking hundreds of photos and STILL decide not to post one.

The lighting wasn't right.
The angle wasn't right.
Our body didn't look as good as yesterday.
We ate "badly" the night before.
We didn't look perfect.

I'm absolutely guilty of this too. I'll take photos of myself, pick them apart and delete them because I've convinced myself they're not good enough for Instagram.

But what if I told you that the perfect picture doesn't actually exist?

You'll take one and think, "That's the one!" Then you'll look at it again and convince yourself you can get a better one.

And here's the thing...

What you see isn't what everyone else sees.

Nobody else is analysing your shoulders, quads, waist or whether you look as good as you did yesterday. They're probably just thinking, "They're at the gym again, clearly working hard and enjoying it enough to document it."

People aren't scrutinising your pictures anywhere near as much as you are.

And this exact picture?

I nearly deleted it.

In my head it looked awkward. I didn't like how my legs looked and I didn't think it was good enough to post.

Then a couple of hours later, I started thinking about how hard we are on ourselves.

So I decided to post it. 😂

Post the pic. Document the progress. Keep the memory. Stop waiting until you think you look perfect.

Because one day, you're going to look back at a picture you almost deleted and wish you could go back to that exact version of yourself.

You'll wish you'd appreciated your body more.

You'll wish you'd been kinder to yourself.

And you'd do anything to look the way you do today.

Post the pic 📸

I promise you, it's good enough 🩷

“What if people think I’m cringe?”
“What if nobody likes it?”
“What if I spend hours making this and it flops?”

I’ve had ALL of these thoughts. And honestly, sometimes I still do.

But I’m slowly learning that it really doesn’t matter.

Every content creator, even the ones with millions of followers, will have posts and reels that flop.

Sometimes the content they’ve spent hours filming, editing and captioning barely gets seen, while something they threw together in five minutes takes off.

You’re not in control of the algorithm.

You ARE in control of how you talk to yourself, how much you believe in yourself and whether you let the fear of “what if nobody likes this?” stop you from doing something you actually enjoy.

Some of my favourite PR videos that I’ve made are sitting further down my page with less than 20 likes.

Does that make the videos any less impressive?

Absolutely not.

It just means they didn’t hit the algorithm.

And this post might not get many likes either. But I’m learning to not actually care.

Because my worth isn’t defined by likes.

I’m creating content because I genuinely LOVE doing it.
And the feedback I get from you guys, both publicly and through DMs, honestly means more to me than I can explain.

Knowing that something I’ve posted has motivated someone, helped someone through a difficult day, made someone laugh or even encouraged someone to believe in themselves a little bit more brings me so much joy.

So what if you get no likes?
Post it anyway.

So what if someone thinks it’s cringe?
Post it anyway.

So what if it flops?
Post it anyway.

Don’t let the fear of being judged stop you from doing something you love.

And for anyone wanting to grow their page, DM me your posts and I’ll give them some love! 🫶🏼

We all need to support each other. There’s room for all of us 🩷
