The Final Send-off

The day started fairly slow and windy but picked up as the day progressed. With helpful tips from our guide and newfound friend Justin we were able to get some fish to the net. There was a little bit of a learning curve for both me and my buddy, being that it was our first time fishing out of a raft, but with the help of our guide Justin on the oars, the transition from wading to floating down the river was smooth and tons of fun. This opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time considering my buddy Isaiah is leaving for a 3 month-long study abroad trip less than a week after the float trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and crew to share this experience with.
