Showing off in the gorgeous new Crystal Purple @comiccapsule is one of the hottest books of NYCC, and my most anticipated @imagecomics release, The Princess Murders by the powerhouse creative duo of @tonyfleecs and @timseeley 👀

This ashcan of The Princess Murders is one I plan to hold onto for a while... I'm expecting big things to come with this title, and with Tony involved, you already know there will be some amazing homage covers that I personally can't wait to see 😬🙌📈

Were you lucky enough to score one of these super limited NYCC Ashcans?

🎃 Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees – Halloween Special 01 🪵🔪

Announcing a new ‘No Capes!’ a Graphic Novel Book Club from @teaselandskylark Bookshop and @revoltingross

Meetings will take place every other month at The King’s Arms Hotel in Dorchester, with the inaugural session hosted on 9 December.

For the first session, the reading list pairs wholesome, storybook aesthetics with dark, chilling horror:

Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees by Patrick Horvath @catbirdplanet
Winner of the 2025 Harvey Book of the Year Award. Drawn in a charming, classic picture-book style, this dark thriller follows an upstanding local hardware store owner in a quiet woodland community who harbors a deadly secret.

Stray Dogs by Tony Fleecs (Author) @tonyfleecs and Trish Forstner (Artist) @trishforstner
Illustrated in the style of classic 90s animation, this suspenseful mystery unfolds from the perspective of a group of rescued dogs who gradually realize something is deeply wrong with their new home.

Copies of both books can be ordered through Teasel & Skylark Bookshop. Pick up your reading list, dive in, and join the discussion this December! Club members get 10% off books. taken in The King's Arms by @tonyfleecs

Somebody killed the princess, and her stepsister and fairy godmother want answers. THE PRINCESS MURDERS is the twisted new series from Tony Fleecs and Tim Seeley, where fairy tale animation meets giallo horror. The Hollywood Reporter got the first look at the trailer earlier today. Grab the ashcan at table G36 at NYCC before anyone else gets their hands on it.

A STYLIZED PRINCESS SLASHER FROM THE CREATORS OF STRAY DOGS AND HACK/SLASH

Lovely Princess Lottie and her wicked stepsister Edwige have arrived in the Kingdom of Sardinia, where princesses from across the globe have gathered to compete for the hand of the handsome Prince Carlo. But fairy tales have a way of turning… grim. There’s a black-gloved killer stalking the castle halls and no one is safe. Now, our princesses will fight to survive royal politics, and backstabbing, both literal and figurative.

The question is no longer “Who will win the prince?” It’s “Who will die first?” and “Will there be musical numbers?”

“Can’t You Feel It (theme from The Princess Murders)”
Music Arrangement by Nima Fakhrara
Vocals by Maria Schafer
Lyrics by Tony Fleecs & Tim Seeley

Colors: Brian Reber
Special Effects: Adam Sherman at Sherman Post
