This Saturday was such a blessing! ❤️ Seeing the joy and excitement on the children’s faces made it all worth it.

Thank you @avonave_nps for collaborating with my family’s nonprofit, @protecting_our_legacy, and helping us pour back into the youth of Newark.

A very special thank you to @brooklynbellacollection for helping us secure donations and with media. You were truly a lifesaver! ❤️

Thank you to our Youth Empowerment panelists Phil Nelson, Christopher Green, @omarrasalgado, and @datwonthomas for pouring into our youth.

And a HUGE thank you to each of our amazing donors and community partners:

@thinkwattsfoundation
@karlkani
@comfortcravingsnj
@quietazmoney

@dmccookies
@cobblestonemultimedia
@_trendyeats

We truly could not have done this without you!

And to the City of Newark, New Jersey, @CityofNewarkNJ, THANK YOU for welcoming our family with so much love and for honoring my grandfather with the Key to the City. Newark played such an important part in making him the man he is today, and our family will always have so much love for this city. ❤️

Thank you, Newark, for coming out, showing up for the youth, and making this weekend so special.

This is an annual event, so we’ll see you next year! To support or donate, visit the link in @protecting_our_legacy’s bio. 🫶🏽 by @tonysha__
