POSTS STORIES REELS

Once again, reporting live from Punk Island, 2026. Part two features conversations with David, from Digamy, as well as both Arlene & Antonio, who together have been pivotal organizers of the Punk Island festival for the better part of two decades. Part two concludes with the final act of the festival, a legendary performance by a 12-piece brass band from Brooklyn - Funkrust Brass Band. Turns out electricity is not required to be punk as fuck.

Rule number 1 in the pit is always pick people up when they fall. Amazing shot captured by the mythical @maranmedia. We highly recommend enlisting in Jojo's services if you're a content creator of any level.

Episode 24 features the rock band Digamy ( @listentodigamy), a power trio based out of Astoria, Queens. In this episode, we listen to their song "Save Yourself", which can be found on the same platform you're using to tune into the Rhythm Bois.

We chat with our longtime buddy, David (guitars, vocals), who besides being his own producer and engineer, is a multi-instrumentalist in his own right. We love multi-instrumentalism around here, and David is a great example of how becoming a musical Swiss-army knife can benefit greatly in your own creative process.

Each episode will feature an independent musical artist. Our intention is to uplift the worldwide local music scenes. To have your music featured on the podcast, email us at: rhythmbois@gmail.com. You must own the rights to your music. If not, we will need the license from whomever does (such as your record label, or music publisher). WAV files preferred.

New Character Unlocked 👤 On the horizon, a new member can be seen joining The Sun Magnetic. Please give a warm welcome to our bass player @tonysofio as he thump thumps his way into the soirée

We’ve been hard at working getting Tony up to date on the tunes and he’s sounding great. You’ll have your chance to see him live at our show @pianosnyc next week! Check the link in our bio for tix if u need them

Super excited to announce our first show this year! We’re sharing the stage @pianosnyc with some swell musicians (@thesanzofficial @sibilancezz @askal.mp3 )and can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on. ALSO, today is Bandcamp Friday so if you haven’t picked up Dream Lilith yet, today would be a great day to do so. All proceeds go 100% to the band to help us bring you more music/content/etc. The track is $1 and to put it into perspective, you’d have to stream it 333 times on Spotify for us to see that $1. I know you love us but that’s a lot of times to stream one song 🤣
Ticket links and our Bandcamp link is in our Bio, all the love ☀️ 🧲

PS - We added another member to the band so stay tuned for a very special announcement 😉 by @tonysofio
