Massive BFT🦍An insane battle with this fish hooked by @tonywan99 after a strong start, he gave me the chance to take over. It took me 1 hour to bring this giant fish boat side. We couldn’t properly measure it, but it was around 260 cm (+100”). A very serious fish that gave us a real taste of the OBX giants. What an honor and a pleasure to be part of this.A perfect way to start the week. The eye is not punctured, so the fish is not blind. Thanks)Un combat tout en finesse avec ce poisson ferré par @tonywan99. Après un début de combat musclé, il m’a laissé prendre le relais. Il m’a fallu 1 heure pour amener ce joli poisson au bateau. Nous n’avons pas pu le mesurer correctement, mais il faisait environ 260 cm (+100”). Un poisson très sérieux qui nous a donné un vrai aperçu des géants d’OBX. Quel honneur et quel plaisir d’avoir pu vivre ça.Une bonne manière de commencer la semaine. Some crazy good feeds today. I mean, the kind ya see from a mile away. But… SUPER spooky fish. Would go down when ya got fifty, even a hundred yards away sometimes. And even if they did stay up? Man, there were a couple a ragers we got a half-dozen casts into with NO eats! WTH? Sometime it just be that way. Whateva… We go the bite we needed. Just like that - my OBX season 2026 has started! Slow start to the day before we found the fish, but once we found em, it’s lights out fishing! 80-85” class all afternoon! Catch and release!
