Your idol playing your track in front of a crowd: a long time dream I did not really expect to have happen to me anytime soon. But here we are. @rubenderonde managed to suprise @mcelewski and I by playing a record we've been working on for the past few months. It's no secret that Maciej and I been producing a couple of songs together, but almost none of them have really reached the public, untill now! Big thanks to Ruben for making this happen (and in such a big and legendary club like Epic Prague nonetheless). I'm still pinching myself that this actually happened! So that was my first gig ever! Im still pinching myself from the fact that this happened! Thank you so much @rubenderonde for letting me be part of your open to close and thanks to @dwarriormusic and @mcelewski for the laughs, fun and just good set behind the decks! Cant imagine a better first ever gig than this one with these guys and this crowd! I was so nervous before going on stage, but its mindblowing how quickly this faded away and it turned in to a lot of fun without any worry in my head! Also, big shoutout to @agata.xyz.123 and my mom @simoneslotboom for being the huge mental support there! Will do a later post to shoutout everyone I partied with and highlight Rubens set itself, cause besides DJ'ing I was still at the party as the Ruben fanboy I am. Thanks to everyone who joined and watched the stream so early in the set to watch us play, it means the world! Another year, another Dam tot Dam! And a new PR on the 10 English Miles! 1:13:45! After being sick for a week, didn't have too high expectations, but run went super smooth and well, happy with the results after a summer full of training! Yee-haw! 🤠 First time in America. What an experience it was! From NYC to DC, Boston and back to New York. These past 13 days have been incredible! I think the USA is the only place where you can visit for the first time and feel so familiar with a place. Seen so many movies and series recorded in these cities, which made it feel like I was walking a movie set! On top of that, being there on July 4th when America celebrated 250 years of independence and the world cup being hosted at the same time made it all a little bit more special! Highlights being the fireworks on the 4th and watching USA - Belgium on the big screen in Washington! Also finally met up with @tu13es in Boston after knowing eachother online for years (and he gave us a great tour of Boston on top of that)! Thanks for the super fun time Brandon (and happy birthday)! Will for sure be back in the US, cause I feel like this is only a small bit of all there is to see and experience! But first, time to recover from all the crazy food and drinks the US had to offer... taken in USA by @toonross

Not often that I have moments where I really appreciate life and how lucky I am with what I have, but this weekend was one of those moments! So a little appreciation post for last weekend! Race season 2026 has started! Opened up with a Half Marathon at @cpcloopdenhaag and 2 weeks later with a 10 English Mile at @zandvoortcircuitrun! At CPC I was 1 min short of a PR and at Zandvoort I managed to break my time of last years run, which is a win in my book with the awfull winds we had at the beach part of the run. Good way to start the races of this year! Big thanks as always to @simoneslotboom for cheering me on (and filming/taking pics) at both races! About last weekend: another @asotlive for the books! Had such a great three days partying with all the Statemates, friends and familiar faces! Thanks to everyone who joined me on the dancefloor or pre-meetups for all the good vibes and dancing (might not have pics or tags with everyone, but you all know who you are)! Can't wait to see you all again soon! Also big thanks to all the artists who played such amazing sets (again, not all made the post or tags, but I enjoyed almost every set over those 3 days)! It's always special to be in the @asotlive studio, but the tune of the year episode is always just a bit more special. Was super nice to join with the Statemates crew as always! Also had the honour of being on the mic to present my own personal tune of the year: "Rise Up" by @ferrycorsten and @rubenderonde as @nrg2000.mp3, which ended up at #9! This was ADE 2025! Always the best week of the year: great parties all around and so many friends from all around the world in the city! Some of the biggest highlights this year: - @asotlive with so many good names playing (and getting a shoutout for my moves on the radio thanks to the people on Discord) but also meeting and seeing so many people that I don't often get to see! - The first @purifiedrecords in Amsterdam which was in such a beautiful location! Hope this will be the first of many! - @rubenderonde tearing down the AFAS Live at Transmission! - Attending @amffestival with Julian after it being our first ever festival 10 years ago! Even a decade later, they still know how to deliver this festival! - @garmash_event_point and @aaaeventsofficial hosting a special night with some of my favourite artists right next door from where I life! - A free @awakenings party with 2 hours of Charlotte de Witte together with @stijn23_ And much much more! Thanks to everyone who partied and had a good time with me! Couldn't tag everyone, but you know who you are! Another bucketlist thing ticked off: running the half marathon of Amsterdam! Last week I managed to last minute get a bib number for the @tcsamsterdammarathon and what an experience it was; most fun run I've ever done! On top of that, PR for the half marathon destroyed by far: 1:53:02! The week prior I also managed to close of my go at "Rondje Mokum" at the 10K of the @sloterplasloop together with some friends (CC @nonstoposcar who sadly didnt make the pics)! Another PR: 48:58. With the other runs of this year, that got me at 12th place, which I'm very happy at! With that the last races of 2025 are (most likely) done. Bucketlist item ticked off: the Dam tot Damloop! Started running 1 year ago with this race in the back of my head, as the Dam tot Dam has always been THE running event in my eyes. Being able to run it is really a small dream come true! On top of that, running a 1:22:27 on a 10 English miles is by far a PR break for me! Will be very hard to top that (although motivation is high to keep these kinda results up). Thanks for everyone that either cheered for me at the finishline or online following along with my run, means so much! Grazie Dolomites! Another summer trip with @agata.xyz.123 and this time we did one of her bucketlist places. Holy moly how gorgeous are these mountains! Had a really tough time selecting which photos and videos to post for this, cause it was all so beautiful. Neither does this post do justice to how massive they are up close!
