I participated in an art competition held at school this year, the theme was “perspective,” hosted by Jessica Scates. As someone who felt extremely homesick, I found myself missing sharing dim sum with my parents. Now every time I walk by the hallway of the 2nd floor of Squire, it’s a reminder that home is closer than I think even if I’m 380 miles away from Brooklyn 🥹

I also forget how much I enjoy creating art

Nei had a “25% dentist” celebration at the end of D1 year before D1 early fall 🍰

What an amazing opportunity to participate in the Summer Dental Research Program (SDRP) and present my research on Student Research Day! I did a comparative analysis on laser and LED technology on tooth whitening treatments.

Super thankful to the best team ever @arany_lab !! Thank you to my mentor Dr. Praveen Arany and all the help from geniuses @_ridham_varsani and @mahmud_khairulamin. Shoutout to Steve Makowka for letting me use his spectrophotometer!!

I also assisted Dr. Jefe Ajayi on his orthodontic research along with Dr. Covell, which gave me a deeper understanding of ABO-DI and ABO-OGS grading and their role in case evaluation!

Last but not least, a huge appreciation to the orthodontic interest club and my classmates who also participated in SDRP ( congratulations to @lilgigidds @xanderm2323 and Dorothy on winning their awards!!) by @toothfairyada
