🌻✈️ Great news for accessible travel!

Manchester Airport has opened a new Sunflower Room in Terminal 2 to support passengers with autism, neurodivergence, hidden disabilities and additional assistance needs. 💛

The facility includes:
🫧 Two sensory rooms with bubble tubes, infinity mirrors, light projectors and adjustable lighting.
🤍 A quiet room offering a calm retreat from the busy terminal.
🛫 Flight information screens at the entrance.

Best of all, it’s free to use and doesn’t require pre-booking! 🌟 Sunflower Lanyards are also available from the Terminal 2 Assistance Reception on the day of travel.

Developed with AmbiSpace Ltd, The National Autistic Society, ABM UK and the Manchester Airport Disability Forum, this is a fantastic step towards making travel more inclusive.

Travel should be for everyone, and having a calm space before flying can make such a difference. 🌍💛

💬 Would you like to see more airports offering facilities like this? Let me know below! 👇

Easyjet strike update
There are currently strike dates affecting Easyjet flying in both Portugal and Italy this October, so if you’ve got an Easyjet flight booked, these are the dates to be aware of.
Portugal: 2-6 October, with further strike action planned for 19-23 December involving cabin crew based in Portugal.
Italy: 16 October - a 24-hour strike involving Easyjet
flying personnel.
I’ll keep you updated if anything changes, but for now, make sure you’re checking your emails and your flight directly with Easyjet if you’re travelling on or around these dates.
Save this if you’ve got an Easyjet trip coming up

🚨Important information x Manchester, East Midlands and Stansted Airport were all hit by a cyber attack. So if you have travelled through any of these airports, here’s what you need to know and what you need to look out for. I’m Claire . I work in travel. I share daily useful tips and updates, so make sure you’re following along. So around 8.7 million customers’ data was accessed, and the information came from systems used for airport car parking, signing up for airport Wi‑Fi, Fast Track and airport lounges. The compromised information includes phone numbers, email addresses, vehicle registrations, as well as postcodes. Thankfully, no card details, no bank details and no passport details were accessed. At no point was passenger safety compromised, and flights have continued to operate as normal. Lots of people have already received an email direct from the airport advising them of the data breach. But if you haven’t and you know that you’ve travelled through one of these three airports recently and you’ve potentially inputted any of your data into one of these systems, then you need to be very cautious in the next couple of weeks and look out for any unexpected emails, phone calls or text messages claiming to be from the airport itself. The airports have confirmed that they would never directly request bank details or payment information from a customer. So if you do receive a message of this nature, make sure you don’t click on any of the links contained within it. Make sure you save this and share it with anyone else that you know frequently travels through those three airports. #tootstactics #tootstravel #travelaware #ukairports by @tootstravel

Hotel Recommendation x We recently stayed at AX ODYCY in St Paul’s Bay in Malta x The hotel is modern and conveniently located x It has a great feel and we really enjoyed our stay there x There is a family pool, a 13+ pool and an adults only so plenty of options x #tootstactics #axodycy #malta #travelagent by @tootstravel

From the peaceful waterways of the Okavango Delta to the thundering beauty of the Zambezi, this is a safari adventure unlike any other.

Imagine gliding silently through winding channels in a traditional mokoro, watching elephants gather on the floodplains, spotting incredible wildlife in their natural habitat and standing in awe of the spectacular Victoria Falls.

This is so much more than a safari. It’s a journey filled with extraordinary experiences, breathtaking scenery and moments you’ll remember for a lifetime.

If you’re dreaming of an adventure that takes you beyond the ordinary, Africa is calling.
