🎥 Watch Part 3 of our ADU series!

Hiring the right contractor starts before construction begins.

Before you sign a contract:

✔ Get multiple quotes.
✔ Verify the contractor's license.
✔ Confirm they have the proper insurance.
✔ Check referrals and previous work.

The right contractor isn't always the cheapest; it's the one you trust to complete the job with integrity and quality.

Not every construction project fits neatly into a standard category.

During a recent job site visit in Burbank, we joined Tony Espinosa of @toplegacyconstruction to tour an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) conversion and discuss how these projects are evolving.

One topic that stood out was how some insurance carriers may view certain ADU conversions as new construction, even though they're existing garage conversions.

Understanding the scope of work is important when evaluating a contractor's insurance needs.

At Contractors Risk Solutions, job site visits help us better understand our clients' operations so we can provide more informed risk assessments and insurance guidance.

Happy Father’s Day to my dad! He is the reason behind “LEGACY” in Top Legacy Co. It is about honoring his legacy that he has built over 40 years of his life to this craft. He has made an impact on countless people’s lives but especially mine and my family’s. He is a beacon of positivity, strength, and kindness! His smile lights up a room, a work site, or an inspector’s cold heart. He has a way with people and everyone recognizes how good of a person he is within meeting him in the first minute of talking to him. He is my hero, he is the standard for this industry, and he his most importantly, my dad. I’m blessed and thankful to have him! I love you pops! by @toplegacyconstruction
