I’m Jenny 7 years ago I got breast cancer I run topless to raise awareness and to keep reminding people to check their breasts regularly. 🎗️💗🐦‍🔥

However that last medal I still feel like it doesn’t belong around my neck…I’m still hurt from Sundays event I just knew it wasn’t right from the onset it just felt out of place. I just couldn’t put my finger on what or why. Why do men feel it’s ok the attack or abuse women at what point does this stop? I love the feeling the phoenix gives me but I’m also frightened now, home ground should have been the best one yet it wasn’t. All 3 events prior I had a phenomenal response! Over the last 4 weeks I’ve heard so many cancer stories, including a gentleman who told me his story he’s never told anyone because he was embarrassed but he said I’d changed that. Torbay I had a lady asking to meet me and she said she was so inspired that she wanted to share her story and to go topless which she did. I’d never felt so honoured or proud. I’m not ready to stop doing what I’m doing but I also need to keep safe for my families sake. This last medal will always hold that memory 💔😢🐦‍🔥

Today is the last event! 4 in 4, Feel a mixture of emotions today! Didn’t sleep last night again still way too much energy 🤣. Last time I ran an event in Taunton I had the threat of arrest, I was called disgusting and that I was disrespectful by a so called friend, I still hear that voice every time those wings go on. Today I’ve no intention to be the pocket rocket everyone expects today I’m just going to have fun and yes there will probably be tears too 🤣🐦‍🔥. Tomorrow we come back home! Full circle. My first large topless event was in March. Time to show my home town the change. I want to show the photo from that first topless a shy not sure if I was doing the right thing to a Phoenix more confident thanks to Steve and absolutely loving my topless journey. I’ve not got a time in my head for this one as it’s the end of my 4 in 4 so just a victory lap to finish and what a party atmosphere it will feel like. It may be quite wet tomorrow so I’d love for you to keep me warm with your cheers and kindness. Huge thank you to Torbay half & 10k for an amazing welcoming. Absolutely electric atmosphere from start to finish. Highly recommended as it’s such a fab event. Thanks to all the volunteers and everyone who stood out to support us all. It was brilliant and I loved every minute of that. Event 2/4 Halfway now to complete the 4 in 4. This was Burnham half a fairly quiet race but still enjoyable. Well except the green mile at the end that was a bit mess with your head. Next stop Torbay before finishing back in Taunton on home ground where is likely to feel like there’s thousands. Just want to thank everyone for the love and support. As well as the kind words and encouragement. You’ve all helped me more than you’ll ever know and for that I’ll be eternally grateful for. Life is a gift to be treasured and for living. Be kind help others in need and just be grateful. I’ve had near misses so there’s obviously a reason I’m still here. Maybe to keep annoying others?! Ha I have no idea..🤷🏻‍♀️ but I’ll definitely keep being me and raise awareness for breast cancer and reminding you to check yourself. Thank you Cardiff for the most amazing support, kindness, encouragement and love. Every story I heard yesterday is still with me today. Thank you to the chap who helped me at mile 5.6 as I got sick and got me over the line. Wow, this really shows just how much the phoenix wings stand out from the crowd and gets everyone talking. Well event 1 of 4 done✅
This was so hard to move around got stuck and just couldn’t move at all. Bashed about like a ping pong but I still enjoyed it the crowd were amazing and so much love on the course today. It was good, another piece of bling for the medal holder. Next stop is Sunday coming Burnham half marathon..13th September is a date I’ll never forget so I want to rewrite history with something good. I met Jenny at the Ultra Mindset Flanci Camp in May 💛✨

What a complete beam of joy she is! 🌟

She was terrified about stepping into something like this… but honestly, you would NEVER have known. She showed up, embraced every challenge and kept going with courage, strength and so much
