Gears of War - Frag Grenades

@xboxuk held an event in London, marking the 25th anniversary of xbox and the release of Gears of War E-day! I was approached by swamp experiences and asked if we could create 16 soft prop frag grenades for an immersive experience for the fans attending. If you attended the event and swung a grenade, let me know how you did!

Blaydon Races - @nufc music video @bloodfilmsltd reached out to us again regarding SFX for a music video._ You'd see this effect used in peaky blinders or in a battle field of a war film.
Special shout out to @artem_sfx for the speedy turnaround, now we have this in stock ready to go!

Metroland Live: As Seen On TV | Edinburgh Festival

Set designed and built at @topofthepropsne

Other than the fake fruit, everything was created with materials left over from previous productions.
Designed so it can be compacted down and transported in a car and to save space backstage when not needed.

I thrive on creating the unusual, if you're in need of a set or prop. Get intouch!

Part three of my FMP images - the life of a Viking

I used a bald cap to age my character up, along side this I hand knotted a beard, moustache & eyebrows, and sculpted aging prosthetics that also included the wounds the warrior would have attained.

Aged warrior

Big thank you to..

@valhallayork for allowing me to use their venue for my images what Viking doesn’t want to go to Valhalla!

‘Her Last Judgement’

Set design and build created for a short shot in Sunderland. John was part of the 'lucky penny' short that I was attached to. Knowing there was a need for a set build, he contacted us with the script and sent back an initial design. Created in a week saved and added to stock ready for hire.

I can't wait to see it put together! Congrats all!

METRO STORAGE INSTALL.
While it's been a bit quiet on the film and TV front, we've been creating something special for a scocial house here in Gateshead. I was asked if we were up for making something that was " a bit mad" ... to which i said "...always!" Once I visited and took a few measurements it was all action stations go!
Alcoves now have enough space in them for draws and a wardrobe, TV set into the middle window and finished to resemble a metro carriage from the 90's.

If you have any 'mad' ideas of youre own, get intouch and we'll see what we can do!

BBC Three - Doppelganger

Designed and built by the team here at Top of the Props. Original design was a green/teal however after seeing the costume designers options for Josie, it was easier for us to work around at that point and change our design. Classic pink it was!As usual we had limited time and a tight budget but pulled through. Huge shoutout to all involved, the whole film looks great!
