a week well spent doing bestie things in upper Michigan ✨🌊🍒🍷☀️

we visited local bookstores, did a winery tour, and figured out that to kidnap us all you need to do is put a book sale sign on the side of the road! 😆

I came across a video of a girl talking about this book and saying that it infinitely stars, so naturally I found it on KU and started it immediately! 💔❤️‍🩹

REVIEW: The Mash Up by Laura Marie Meyers ✨🎀🛼🌈

If you love stories packed with nostalgia, heart, and laugh-out-loud moments, The Mash Up is one to add to your TBR.

This book perfectly blends romance, self-discovery, and all the warm, fuzzy feelings of revisiting the past. The characters feel authentic, the banter is fun, and the emotional moments really hit. It’s a reminder that life doesn’t always go as planned—but sometimes the unexpected leads to exactly where you’re meant to be.

I loved the mix of humor, heartfelt friendships, and second chances. It had me smiling one chapter and feeling all the emotions the next.

🌊📖 Spoiler-Free Review: Rules for the Summer

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

This was the perfect feel-good summer romance. The small-town coastal setting was so easy to get lost in, and it felt like the kind of place you’d want to spend an entire season. The romance is a slow burn with plenty of tension, sweet moments, and just the right amount of spice and hilarious banter. I was LOL the whole time!

What stood out most was the emotional growth of the characters. Their journey felt genuine, and I loved watching them learn to open their hearts and embrace change.

Halfway through and I’m hooked! The banter, the slow-burn tension, and all the summer feels are delivering exactly what I wanted. And can we talk about these gorgeous interior illustrations? They’re such a beautiful touch. 🤍
