Streetwear was once considered an underground subculture, but luxury fashion houses are increasingly embracing its influence. This shift raises an interesting question for the industry: is streetwear completely taking over, or are these two distinct worlds simply merging into one?

I would love to get your thoughts on this trend and discuss how it might impact streetwear and luxury brands moving forward.

In Wilson, loyalty comes with a price, power is never freely given, and the deepest betrayals come from those you trust most. In this town, every shadow hides a secret, and every choice carries a dangerous consequence.

When investigator Dani McGraw vanishes after uncovering a web of suspicious town contracts—leaving behind only an abandoned car and missing case files—her brother Anthony knows the official story does not add up. From decades-old unsolved murders to secret shadow operations and high-level political cover-ups, the town’s elite will stop at nothing to keep the past buried.

As you step into the Wilson Universe and unravel the dark truths behind The Motive: Wilson, only one question remains: who can you truly trust when everyone has something to hide?

Experience the story today and uncover the secrets for yourself.

Supreme Fall/Winter 2026 collection:

Supreme has always been about more than just clothing. Since its early days in New York’s skate scene, the brand has built an identity around mixing street culture with fashion, art, music, sports, subcultures, and the unexpected. For Fall/Winter 2026, Supreme continues this tradition while pushing the boundaries of what a streetwear collection can look like.

Rather than relying solely on Box Logo hoodies and graphic tees, FW26 presents an entire lifestyle across several key categories:

+ Outerwear as the Focus: The jacket is positioned as the centerpiece of the outfit. Highlights include the Swarovski Studded Quilted Leather Jacket, AOI Fleece Lined Track Jacket, Leather Appliqué Hooded Work Jacket, and the Supreme/Champion Quilted Satin Varsity Jacket. Water-resistant options like the Coaches Jacket demonstrate how Supreme continues to elevate classic staples through premium linings and details.

+ Workwear & Looser Silhouettes: Continuing its tradition with workwear, the collection features double-knee painter pants, chinos, cargos, and selvedge denim. Proportions lean heavily into roomier, baggier fits, emphasizing silhouette over graphic design.

+ Graphics & Underground Culture: FW26 balances bold imagery with understated staples. Key pieces include the Sith Hooded Sweatshirt, Blessed Appliqué Zip Up, Girls Collage S/S Shirt, and the classic Small Box Tee.

+ Headwear & Lifestyle Accessories: The headwear lineup featuring camp caps, six-panels, and New Era styles complements the broader collection. Beyond apparel, Supreme continues its signature lifestyle focus with a wide range of collectibles and practical objects.

Ultimately, FW26 reinforces Supreme’s core formula: pairing statement jackets, heavy hoodies, and bold graphics with simple styling, relaxed proportions, and iconic accessories. by @topsouthwill

Jon Woo began his music career in the mid-1990s, producing beats, performing, and developing his skills before moving to New York City to collaborate with major artists and expand his industry network.

Upon returning to Kentucky, he established key partnerships with George Slaughter, Wendy Day, and Louisville artist Native. Jon Woo spent two decades as a producer, manager, and industry connector. He has consistently supported regional talent through initiatives like Producers Corner and a monthly studio and marketing program co-founded with Kojin Tashiro at SoundBase Studios.

Today, Jon Woo leverages his extensive industry expertise as a manager, notably co-founding and guiding the career of rising Louisville R&B artist Marzz while continuing to create opportunities for emerging talent.

The Architects of American Streetwear

Streetwear originated in local neighborhoods, music scenes, and independent shops, representing identity and community through five core stories:

  - April Walker (Walker Wear): Founded in Brooklyn as one of the first major Black female-led streetwear brands. She tailored loose fits for hip-hop icons like Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G., demonstrating the genre’s commercial viability.

  - Dapper Dan (Dapper Dan’s Boutique): Opened in Harlem in 1982, blending luxury logos with street silhouettes. He established the blueprint for hip-hop luxury partnerships, leading to his 2017 Gucci collaboration.

  - Karl Kani (Karl Kani): Brooklyn-inspired pioneer of oversized denim who scaled a grassroots, Black-owned brand into a global retail success after the 1991 MAGIC trade show.

  - Maurice Malone (Maurice Malone / MoJeans): Started in Detroit, expanding from a basement operation into a major denim brand. His Hip Hop Shop served as a cultural hub for artists like Eminem, bridging underground denim and high fashion.

  - Carl Jones & TJ Walker (Cross Colours): Launched in Los Angeles in 1989, combining bold colors and slogan-driven apparel (e.g., “Clothing Without Prejudice”) to merge fashion with social commentary.

The Bigger Story

These designers established a framework where youth culture and neighborhood communities served as the runway. Their legacy demonstrates how streetwear acts as cultural storytelling—providing key context for HOMI & FRNZ DAILY and the modern intersection of fashion, music, and culture. by @topsouthwill

While in Salt Lake City, I wanted to check out the local streetwear stores and came across Doused, located inside the Fashion Place Mall.

I had the chance to chat with Alex, who gave me the rundown on the city’s top brands and current trends. Doused has a great selection of sneakers and cool merchandise, including brands like:

 + Supreme
 + Bape
 + Essentials
 + Stüssy
 + First Row

If you are ever in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by and checking them out.
