World Premiere alert ‼️ INFERNO IN PARIS will premiere at the Beverly Hills Film Festival this Friday in Hollywood. I’m literally on a plane heading to LA as I write this!

I wrote Inferno while in Paris on an unexpectedly extended stay, which led to more staying, filming in Paris, then applying for & getting my multi-year artist residency in France. It’s been a wild ride.

Blessed to have acted in & co-produced this short film with a stellar Parisian cast & crew & producers who didn’t seem to mind that I could barely speak « un mot » of French.

Thanks to my amazing director @thenextquentin for bringing his vision to my script & to producer-extraordinaire @theophile.chx whose continued help is like a reward unto itself.

If you’re in LA this Friday, come to the screening at the legendary @chinesetheatres in Hollywood! Watching & hearing Inferno In Paris at one of the best screens in the country will be a dream come true. Written from the other side of the epic solar eclipse seen from the sea in Mallorca. I travelled from Paris for this once in a lifetime event (totality at sunset will happen again in 150 years — see u there?). Finding myself in the water, planned with precision with the best team, internal shifts were in perfect synchronicity with aquatic currents, being as it were the womb of Mother Nature, from which we humans were born.

We set up on the sandbar in the water, waited patiently, prepped with bottles of water, a dry bag filled with our phones, and a trusty Bluetooth speaker supporting the vibe with smooth, fabulous beats.

And when I saw two birds fly off away from the sun, I looked at my friends and knew totality had begun. Glasses off. Screaming coming from the whole of the beach, joy fear astonishment elemental excitement of wholeness in its perfection reached. Were you ready?

The video captures the moment.

I felt nurtured & thankful during this forever moment that respectfully marked the close of a long chapter of lessons & change, of holding on & letting go, setting the stage of a remarkable era of pieces falling into place, the natural fulfillment had the work been done.

It continues, no? I’m seeing & feeling the changes all around me. On the world stage: Tim, Dolly, Yayoi. All touchstones in my creative & personal life as I know it. And in the personal personal, a forever journey in which I search for indelible stillness & connection between the rushing tides of life.

The lessons & legacies continue. And as I write this in Cassis, surrounded by an enveloping breeze as old as the massif & calenques themselves, I ask myself, what will be my legacy. And what will be yours?

At the Cannes #redcarpet premiere of Coward directed by Lukas Dhont. This Belgian film about soldiers creating theater & meaningful connection during the endless battle that was WWI garnered Best Actor awards for BOTH its leading male actors @macchiaemmanuel @valentin.campagne . I was lucky enough to see it happen in person later in the festival at the closing ceremony which was electric! Swipe to experience the moment.

It’s the skies over Paris in particular. I was a scrappy 16-year-old art student exploring the City of Lights for the first time. With a tilt of the head, the sky would beckon to me on a DNA-level, inviting me into its own greater universe stretching over an already complete galaxy. Even now, 35+ countries later, no other city’s canopy, however brilliant, has ever come close.

Then ✨4/4✨ 2026 I’m this much closer to the sky.
