Thank you to the conveniently placed leaf for backing the new work I’m making!

The cupcakes from my thesis! We’re gonna pretend I didn’t wait months to post anything….
These were my favorite little detail of my thesis installation, which actually ended up being wheel thrown! They made me hungry every day 🫢

“Forget Me Not” is a evocative narrative vignette by Tori Eodice, graduating @hartfordartschool ceramics senior. It pulls us into a bright, seemingly sweet imaginary birthday scene, only to confront us with the dark edges of girlhood and coming of age. Tori will be taking her significant sculptural, surfacing and wheel-throwing skills to her new job teaching at @thefirestonect - congratulations, Tori! @tori.throws.things @vbeodi

My name is Tori Eodice. I am a graduating senior ceramics major at @hartfordartschool

I make work that a younger me would need to see. It explores the imaginative brain-space of my childhood and the secrets it held. I’m often inspired by bright colors, florals, and children’s media. This body of work is an exploration of how I can tangibly process my memories.

Come get a peek into the world I’ve created in the upcoming BFA ceramics, sculpture, and photography thesis exhibition, “In the Verge” in the Joseloff Gallery at the University of Hartford from May 2nd-10th, with an opening reception May 2nd from 6-8pm. Hope to see you there!

My grandmother sent me this picture yesterday and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. The two drawings were gifts to my grandfather and my great uncle before the passed made in probably 2019 ish/earlier. The other two were my first couple ceramic pieces I made in sophomore and junior year of high school (2020)
I’m really grateful to be able to take a passion I loved so much as a child and be able to make it my entire career 🩷

Some snippets of a larger commission I did at work, so sad I couldn’t get more pictures than this one but I loved being able to do these and had such a fun time with these little illustrations! @kvtiles
(Some are sketches from my boss and some are originals)
