Got off work last Friday after a long day, only to get a message from Supernova like “good luck on your run tomorrow .” I was like… ehhhh, nae chance 😭🤣

Holla at my pal thinking she might say “let’s slack it off, but nope, she was ready and absolutely smashed it 💯. While I’m just there like “right, let’s just get this over with.”

For me, I just wanted to get it off my list. Some others are out here planning to do a 5K and build up to a full marathon. Meanwhile, I’m not even sure I’d come back for another 5K 🤣 Or maybe I’ll just stick at 5K, keep it nice and easy😍

But who knows, I might change my mind. Funny enough, just like last night, I somehow found myself running again 😂

Happy to have been part of this run at the Kelpies! I probably wouldn’t have done it without those giant, beautiful horses 🐴 proper worth it 💯

I’m feeling so grateful today!
Becoming a qualified social worker has taught me so much, especially how to reflect (sometimes a little too much, but hey, it works!). And now I’m taking that same reflective superpower into my personal life.

Looking back, I can clearly see how God carried me through these past two years. It definitely wasn’t by my own strength. I thank God for the grace to learn, unlearn, relearn, grow, and even glow a little!

I’m also incredibly grateful for my supportive family ❤️❤️❤️ They deserve awards 🥇

And let’s not forget the biggest miracle: I’ve survived Scottish weather. Rain, wind, surprise rain, sideways rain… and I’m still here saying “aye!” 😂. . . ✨ 20 • 11 • 2025 ✨ 📸 : @matt_shotit

I’ve quite picked up some languages and habits I find interesting 😂 So far I now say:
See you after 👋
I feel like rubbish
I mash my potatoes
Smile at strangers (used to be fake 😂)
Hold the door for the next person
Yo! There’s a name for everything (E.g mashed potato = tatties 😂)
No longer rinse my plates well… don’t judge 🍽️😂
And so on (I’ll keep adding as I remembe😆) .
