A tattoo is visible.EVERYTHING BEHIND IT USUALLY ISN’T.This thought came from my own experience.From certain comments… I realised that judgement around tattoos still exists, not as openly as before, but it is still there.I have also wondered whether my tattoos make it more difficult to meet a partner. Whether people form an idea of me before they have actually spoken to me.But this is not only about me.People often look at tattoos as if they reveal someone’s personality.They see rebellion, instability, confidence, pain, promiscuity, freedom, depending on what they already believe.But tattoos do not make a person easier to understand.They only make it easier to project something onto them.You can see confidence where there was insecurity.Rebellion where there was grief.A deliberate statement where there was simply a decision made years ago.Some tattoos carry a story.Some mark a period of life.Some were impulsive.Some were chosen only because they looked good.And none of them can explain the whole person. by @toriatattooo

I don’t want to call myself a tattoo artist anymore.Not because I want to stop tattooing.I just don’t want one term to define me or limit what creativity is allowed to look like.Tattooing process is not only about putting an image on a body.It is about the body itself.The way we treat it.The trust, the touch, the conversation, the silence.The emotional exchange between two people.The image matters — but it is not the whole experience.After some time, you may forget every exact line.But you will remember the atmosphere.What we spoke about.And how you felt while something became part of you.Call it tattooing, art, ritual, or something without a name.I don’t need to define it in order to create it ❤️ by @toriatattooo
