North Bergen, NJ dining room reveal. We aimed to make it as colorful, warm, and eclectic as the city views surrounding the building.

Amazing things can happen in a year if you embrace color, pattern, layers & big personality.

Looking back at my first email from my client Natalie, her worst fear was having a boring apartment. So thrilled to reveal one of our latest completed projects in Hudson County, NJ - there is nothing boring about it!

I just got back from a great event sponsored by @milestone_tiles for architect and design professionals all about sustainability. It was so full circle to end up in Nashville, which I used to frequent in my past life as an auditor. I had a 5 hour day at @gaslampantiques @gaslamptoo digging through treasured to bring home - here is part 1 of my finds! LMK what your favs are so far!

Favorite way to make a nursery unique : creating your own changing table with a vintage or antique dresser + the @keekaroo peanut changing pad! So easy for clean up, and especially fun for your baby if it has a mirror attached.

Suchhhh a good day sourcing today!! I think I was most thrilled about the mid century brass anchor door knocker, I’ve been looking for a nautical one for awhile! And my favorite little trinket of the day is the soapstone trinket box. It’s just the cutest thing ever.

Just because you’re in a rental, doesn’t mean you can’t make your space feel like a home. We used stencils to give a wallpaper effect here - it came out great! This can be painted over white prior to their move out. Just make sure to check with your landlord first ;)

Hard work. Consistency. And absolutely no control at the antique stores.

Mixing patterns can go from gorgeous to ghastly in a second with the wrong combination. Here is why the patterns in this room work so well together: stripes of different size and orientation, adding in different coordinating colors, making sure the patterns are of different scale.
