When I say I make my Halloween costumes… I mean I MAKE my Halloween costumes. 😂 This year’s project: a giant Furby. 💀💖 I swear my brain does not know how to just be normal about things. I get an idea, become completely obsessed with it, and suddenly I’m surrounded by cardboard, hot glue, and craft supplies like I own a damn workshop. 😂 Could I have just bought a costume? Sure. But where’s the fun in that? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyway, this is what happens when you let me have a creative idea and absolutely no one tells me to chill the fuck out. 💅🏼 Happy Halloween, y’all. 👻🎃 Music Cred: @dolledupg . . . . POV: you hire me to create content for your business and I show up with a camera, a bag full of props, and approximately a thousand ideas. 😂📸 Today’s shenanigans at @wildcactuscantina : BED SHEET GHOSTS. 👻 This is your reminder that content creation doesn’t have to be awkward, boring, or feel like pulling teeth. You don’t have to know how to pose, what to say, or how to act on camera. That’s what I’m here for! I bring the ideas, we make it fun, and together we create photos + short-form video content that shows off what makes your business YOURS. ✨ Brand photography, content creation, and social media content for businesses that want to stand out (and don’t mind a little creative chaos). Now taking bookings for new content clients. Who’s next? 👀 #dentontx #BrandPhotography #SocialMediaContent #SmallBusinessMarketing #contentcreation by @torighatmaker
It’s that time of year again where I take absolutely NO accountability for the decisions I make in the name of Halloween. 💅🏼🎃 Last year I was Pee-wee Herman with a DIY Jambi because apparently I have no self control and can’t help but be a perfectionist😂 This year? We’re working with Amazon boxes, delusion, and a dream. 📦🤡 The budget? Questionable. The vision? Unsupervised. The execution? TBD. 😂 💀 GUESS WHAT THE HELL I’M MAKING. WRONG ANSWERS ONLY. This is PART 1. Follow along while I turn a pile of cardboard into something that will either win Halloween or get me banned from the neighborhood. There is NO in-between. 🫡 #halloween #whimsical #DIYCostume #whimsy #FYP by @torighatmaker
Come spend a workday with me. 📸 Photographer. Content creator. Creative director. Professional “wait… I have an idea” person. 😂 Some days I’m in the studio. Some days I’m on location. Some days I’m shooting products. Some days I’m creating content for a business. And pretty much every day involves a camera, a million little decisions, and me figuring out how to make the thing in my head actually happen. It’s not always glamorous. It’s definitely not boring. But getting to spend my days creating photos and content for businesses I believe in? Yeah. I’m pretty damn lucky. ❤️ And then I go home and switch from photographer/content creator to mom/sports chauffeur/dinner maker. 😂 So that’s a day in my life. What does your workday actually look like? #Photographer #ContentCreator #CreativeBusiness #BrandPhotography #ContentCreation BehindTheScenes DFWPhotographer by @torighatmaker
Manchester City beat Manchester United 1-0, with Haaland scoring the winner—and meanwhile, over here in Texas, The Dude was putting in his own Haaland shift. 😂 The other team forfeited, so we played PARENTS vs. KIDS—and The Dude spent the whole game running back and forth pretending he was Haaland😂 OUR FAVORITE GUY! @erling — The Dude is a HUGE fan. Like… BIG BIG fan. 🫶🏼 If this somehow makes its way to you, give our little Haaland a ❤️ or ⚽️. You’d absolutely make his day! Texas → Norway. 🇺🇸➡️🇳🇴 Let’s make it happen. 😂⚽️ #ErlingHaaland #Haaland #HaalandFan #HaalandMode #ManCity ManchesterCity SoccerKid YouthSoccer SoccerLife TexasSoccer Football FutureFootballer by @torighatmaker
“I have a quick idea” — the four most dangerous words when your mom is a photographer. 😂👻 The kids were paid appropriately for their modeling services. 🍟 57 days until Halloween… and apparently I’m already enabling myself. 😂 Camera: @canonusa Location: @mcdonalds @officialhappymeal #HalloweenContent #ContentCreator #MomCreator #CreativeMom #PhotographerMom HalloweenPhotoshoot ContentCreation BehindTheScenes DFWCreator DFWPhotographer by @torighatmaker
Self-portraits are hard. Like… REALLY hard. 😂 You’d think being a photographer would make taking pictures of myself easier. Nope. When I’m behind the camera, I can look at someone and see the little things that make them beautiful. The way they smile. The way their hair falls. The little imperfections that make the photo feel like them. But put me in front of the camera and suddenly I’m analyzing EVERYTHING. My face. My hair. My body. My expression. Why am I standing like that? Why does my face do that? Delete. 😂 I’m so much harder on myself than I would ever be on someone else. And honestly, I think that’s something I’m still learning to work on. To look at a photo of myself and not immediately search for everything I think is wrong with it. To give myself the same grace I give the people who step in front of my camera. So this photo isn’t perfect. And that’s kind of the point. I actually really like it. And I’m trying to get better at letting that be enough. 🖤 Anyone else way more critical of themselves than they are of everyone else? Every photographer has a pre-shoot ritual. Mine just happens to involve a solo dance party in the studio. Music ON. Dance party ON. Creative juices ACTIVATED. 📸✨ It gets me out of my head, shakes off the chaos, and puts me in the right mood to create. So if you ever walk into my studio and I’m dancing like nobody’s watching… Please just pretend you didn’t see that. 😂 Scratch that💅🏽 I don’t care who see me! Go to the beat of your own drum, babe! It’s part of the process. #BehindTheScenes #PhotographerLife #ContentCreator #StudioLife #CreativeLife DFWPhotographer PhotographyLife CreativeProcess ToriLorraineCreative by @torighatmaker
There’s just something about red cowboy boots, cutoffs, and a heavy bag of chicken feed that makes a gal feel a little extra confident. 💅🏽🤠 Do I need a man to help me load the feed? No ma’am. Do I have the upper-body strength of a farmhand? Also no ma’am. 😂 But sometimes you just gotta plant them boots, put some ass in it, and get the job done yourself. 💪🏽🍑 Farm girl in the city… but don’t let the cute boots fool ya. I can still throw some feed in a cart. 😉 Now be honest… are you asking for help or putting some ASS in it? 😂 #FarmGirl #FarmGal #CountryGirl #TractorSupply #ChickenMom DuckMom BackyardChickens HomesteadLife SuburbanHomestead CountryLiving CowboyBoots CountryGirlStyle SouthernGirl FarmLife StrongWomen GirlPower RedBoots ChickenKeeper DuckLife ReelLife by @torighatmaker
🩷I disappear into the thrift world so often that I forget some of y’all met me because of my photography. 🧡So here’s a little day in my life. Pick the dopamine outfit. ✔️ Head to the studio. ✔️ Booties so I don’t track in Texas dirt. ✔️ Set up for the first scene. ✔️ Adjust the light 47 times. ✔️ Wait for wardrobe changes to make some magic. ✔️ 💛I still get butterflies before every session, and honestly, I hope I never stop. 🤍 💚Anyone else wear completely unnecessary amounts of color to work? 🌈 Photographer- @torilorrainecreative Studio- @blackandlightstudiodfw #dfwphotographer #thrifter #thrifthaul #fyp by @torighatmaker

Somewhere out there is a hardworking man… or his wife… who donated this Budweiser work shirt. I’d just like to say… Thank you. 😂🍻 Y’all unknowingly funded my newest favorite crop top. When I spotted this blue button-up for $1.50, I didn’t see a men’s 3XL… I saw potential. A little measuring, a little courage, a few stitches later, and she’s got a whole new life. Moral of the story: never skip the men’s section.
