Well, what can I say… The Fabric of Home 😭A 12 page spread of our beautiful old home in this month’s @countryhomesmag … ✨A home we renovated and poured our time and love into over 7 years as our family grew and both our businesses gained momentum. A safe haven and creative canvas for us all and an opportunity to establish our own sense of home. ♥️A touch bitter sweet to see these images as in some way it still feels like home but we no longer live there. We have however brought all of the noise, creatures, ideas, creativity, love, life and soul with us into our new project that whilst is very much back to the beginning again, is starting to get rather exciting… It’s a reminder of what we achieved and how life can look again beyond the rubble and dust and I feel incredibly proud to see these almost tangiable memories and Joby, the girls and I are so grateful to ✍️ @saraemslie_styleandceramics and 📷 @rachaelsmithphotographyltd for capturing this incredibly happy and formative time in our lives. Black in summer? 🖤It’s one of my go-to colours. Both for sartorial use and when used sparingly in interiors, I think it can be incredibly feminine and soft. It grounds things and stops things being too pretty.In the brighter months, it feels even more relevant. Against lighter tones and natural textures, it adds depth and brings everything back into balance. by @torimurphytextiles

Back to it after time away! 🧺With a mound of washing to get through, I’m so missing our old laundry room and looking forward to designing our much needed new one!It’s easily one of the hardest working rooms in the house and yet probably the most overlooked too. A room that carries the chaos of family life, from odd socks and muddy shoes to the endless coming and going… With a thoughtful approach, it can become so much more than purely practical, and deserves just as much attention as your sitting room or kitchen.Beautiful, hardworking fabrics belong everywhere, especially in the spaces we use the most 👌 by @torimurphytextiles

Sunday Sheers... 🤍 They really do come into their own in this softer light. @emmapatonhome paired our sheer café curtain with her Sleeper Stripe blinds. The sheer gives her a little extra privacy from the village square below, while still letting the light filter through.It’s a simple addition, but one that changes how the space feels throughout the day. 📣 TM Update!As life evolves and opportunity knocks, we are delighted to announce that we are soon to be moving the Tori Murphy office and studio closer to home in our new town of Southwell, Nottinghamshire ✨You can visit by appointment and we look forward to settling into this creative community and glorious part of the world. 🤍 The Tori Murphy showroom, featuring English fabrics, made to measure curtains, blinds, headboards, trims, accesories and more is excitingly going to be popping up in London for 6 months... But where? All to be revealed ... 🇬🇧 So it’s a fond farewell to beautiful Belvoir, what a wonderful couple of years we’ve had there and now on to this next chapter of the business.Stay tuned as our new plans are unveiled to see where you’ll be able to find us... Happy Sunday, folks! Looks like it's as hot at home as it is here 🇬🇷, the perfect kind of weather for generous stripes and open windows...Seen here in @studiosacreste ‘s Camberwell Townhouse project, our Claret Sleeper Stripe curtains with a pretty flop over frill header ❤️… the wide scale of the stripe is such a lovely way to draw the eye up and make a room feel that little bit taller.
