Two weeks ago, cheered-on by many loved-ones, I celebrated two huge career milestones. A photography exhibition of mine, titled ‘Float,’ made its debut at @museumlabpgh and I spoke on an artist panel alongside some amazing humans (shoutout to @devoncolebank, @melissacardellolinton, @rachaelrennebeck, and the perfect facilitator @ratedrian)

I knew reflecting on my journey as an artist was going to bring a lot of raw emotion to the surface, and that speaking on life experiences that lead me to this point a bit… nerve-racking… It took one look out into the audience to feel comforted, and reminded I am who (and where) I am today because of the love and support of my family, friends, and community. You best believe I cried again seeing this gallery arrive in my inbox today. And that I’m crying now writing this.

Thank you for believing in me and my art. I love you!

Collaboration and connection are at the heart of what I do. I wholeheartedly believe ‘Float’ would not be what it is without this specific team of amazing collaborators; this collection is a result of the team that made it happen. I have so much gratitude and respect for their artistry and talents and their ability to translate my ideas through their mediums.

Michael + Frank had an early spring wedding celebration at their home before meeting with more friends and family for dinner and a night out. Their parents and siblings (+ pups) gathered to witness the two sign their marriage license, and to share stories over homemade cake and champagne poured into flutes from Michael’s parent’s wedding. Every piece of their day held so much meaning, so it was a huge gift to be able to photograph the occasion! Plus, it was almost 10 years to the day that I photographed Michael’s graduation session at Penn State (see the last pic 🤭), which made photographing such an intimate celebration extra EXTRA special 🌼

She got her degree!!! 🎓❤️

While living in a new city 2,568 (ish) miles from home, getting divorced, figuring out how to be a single mom, countless crash outs and sleepless nights, and while working full-time… ALL within THREE YEARS!!

None of this would have been possible without my people getting me to the finish line. Everyone who sent me food/groceries so I could eat, to the professors who had my back when everything was falling apart, to Avery who would babysit Manolo so I could go take my finals or study, to my coworkers who held me through some of the darkest months of my life, to my community who would step up in every way possible to help me get through the day, to the late night phone calls when I couldn’t be alone. I am here because of all of you believing in me. LO HICIMOS MI GENTEEEE!!!! 😭

I couldn’t be more proud of her 🥹❤️

A few months ago, I had the privilege of capturing Blairsville’s 2026 Chamber Music Festival. It was so energizing to see an event like this exist in my hometown. The festival consisted of four shows — Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, A Viennese Afternoon, America at 250, and the Grand Finale — that took place at a combination of historic venues in town. And the musicians……. WORLD CLASS TALENT. Literally. These artists are internationally acclaimed, so it was extra special to witness such an extraordinary collaboration in lil ol’ B-Ville. You can’t go wrong with golden hour at the Highline… especially when the laughs are flowing naturally. This spot was a great match for Waverly’s vibrantly cool energy. For this senior portrait session, our goal was casual and candid, and to focus on more urban vignettes. No forced smiles or tense hands here 🙅🏻 taken in The Highline by @toristip

When I moved to the city in 2016, I posted a model call on Craigslist looking to build my photography portfolio. At the time, I didn’t have a ton of portrait experience, so I was at the public forum level of desperation to get someone in front of my camera. It’s crazy to think that these images + my connection to @piannakeys are a result of that ad, and that ten years later we still find a way to create together!

From our very first session running around the city together to now, the trust Anna has in my abilities is something I don’t take lightly, and has become a special thread in my photography story. I had been anticipating Sandra and Sean’s wedding for over a year, and goodness did it exceed expectations in every way! The Creative Faces + Spaces portrait event at @creativechemco was beyond a success! I had an absolutely fantastic time getting artsy fartsy with everyone and challenging myself to utilize as many nooks of the space as possible! If you can believe it, I think there’s even more potential — how about a round 2 soon, yes?

“Incredibly proud” doesn’t even begin to cover how I’m feeling about this project, my team, and seeing this collection in physical form hung at the @museumlabpgh

‘Float’ the result of some studio lighting experimentation, a team I trusted completely, and a photoshoot day that exceeded everything I had imagined!
